La super estrella global Becky G ha lanzado su tan esperado primer álbum Mala Santa y desde hoy está disponible.
“Creciendo en la industria, luché con mi transición de ‘adolescente’ a ‘mujer’ frente al mundo. Sin embargo, a medida que pasa el tiempo, creo que la gente ahora entiende que el ‘ángel’ que conocieron inicialmente sigue siendo una parte de mí. Mis experiencias hasta ahora han abierto un nivel de madurez y crecimiento que se refleja en la mujer que soy ahora. Sigo siendo dueña de mi sonido, identidad y expresión, así que supongo que se me podría considerar la ‘Mala Santa’ de la industria – El ángel que puede ser malo, a veces“, expresó Becky G acerca de su nuevo álbum.
Mala Santa cuenta con los productores ejecutivos DJ Luian y Mambo Kingz. La producción que se grabó en Los Ángeles, Miami, Puerto Rico y Colombia cuenta con 16 temas candentes, incluyendo colaboraciones con Sech, Farruko, Zion & Lennox, Dalex, Darell, Mau y Ricky y Myke Towers.
Mala Santa representa la dualidad de la “chica buena” (Santa) que es percibida como “la mala“(Mala) cuando no se comporta de la manera tradicionalmente esperada de ella. Explorando así la realidad que la mayoría de las mujeres tienen en cuanto a sus facetas de Mala y Santa; y esto se ve reflejado en la música de Becky.

Esta semana de lanzamiento de Mala Santa ha sido muy ocupada para Becky G. Ayer participó en el “Superstar Panel” del “Billboard Latin AMAs Fest” y se presentó en la tienda Apple en Santa Mónica, CA. Esta noche Becky realizará varias presentaciones y será honrada con el Premio Extraordinario a la Evolución en los Latin American Music Awards 2019 (Latin AMAs) por su éxito como joven intérprete que ha alcanzado la cima del éxito en un corto período de tiempo. Además cuenta con tres nominaciones en estos mismos premios, incluyendo Artista Femenina del Año.

Global superstar Becky G has released her highly anticipated debut album Mala Santa, and it’s available worldwide starting today.
“Growing up in the industry, I struggled with my transition from ‘young girl’ to ‘woman’ in front of the world. However, as time goes by, I think people now understand that while the ‘angel’ they first met is still a part of me, my experiences up until now have unlocked a level of maturity and growth that reflects the woman I am today. As I continue to own my sound, identity and expression, I guess you could consider me the Industry’s ‘Mala Santa’ – The Angel who can be bad, sometimes,” expressed Becky G about her new album.
Mala Santa was executive produced by DJ Luian and Mambo Kingz. The tour-de-force production that was recorded in Los Angeles, Miami, Puerto Rico and Colombia features 16 hot tracks including features from Sech, Farruko, Zion & Lennox, Dalex, Darell, Mau y Ricky and Myke Towers.

Mala Santa‘s release week has been a busy one for Becky G. Yesterday she participated in the Superstar Panel at Billboard‘s Latin AMAs Fest and that evening she performed at the Apple Store in Santa Mónica, CA.
Tonight, Becky will perform and will be honored with the Extraordinary Evolution Award at the 2019 Latin American Music Awards for her success as a young performer who has reached the pinnacle of success in a short period of time. She also has three 2019 Latin AMA nominations including Female Artist of the Year.
