Hialeah Park’s new whiskey partner Jack Daniel’s is bringing one of their signature Barbecue and Beats events to the Paddock Garden on Saturday, November 25, 2017, beginning at 12 noon. The all-day event is free and open to those 21 and over, and will feature the music of Oscar G., Armand Pena, Rob-Lo, Techneekz, JC Garcia, Cocca, Andre Ferrero, V Butterfly and Issac Icecold plus a performance by Luis Alas and La Calle Ocho Funk. There will also be a competitive BBQ eating contest and BBQ food trucks: Coops Pit BBQ, Pirate Brothers BBQ and King of Rack BBQ.

Oscar G is an award-winning songwriter and world renowned DJ best known for his long-time residency at Club Space in Miami and Pacha NYC. He has remixed club mixes for pop heavyweights including Madonna, Donna Summer and the Pet Shop Boys. Armand Pena is a similarly well-known Miami-area house / dance disc jockey who’s scored three dance hits and remixed for the likes of Lenny Kravitz. Rob-Lo hails from Brooklyn, NY with weekly residencies throughout the Five Boroughs. Luis Alas’ band plays a fusion pop, urban Latino, and Latin jazz to the delight of the listener.

Hialeah Park began making history in 1922 as the Miami Kennel Club, the first pari-mutuel greyhound track in America, founded by Missouri cattleman James Bright and aviation pioneer Glenn Curtiss.
