Warner/Chappell Music, la publicadora mundial parte de la disquera  multinacional Warner Music Group, firmó contrato mundial con la estrella del trap Argentino y cantautor, Ecko. Esta es la primera vez que la joven estrella, cuyos éxitos «BYE», «Dorado» y «Piso» han encabezado las listas de Billboard en Argentina, cierra un acuerdo exclusivo a nivel mundial con una publicadora, un importante paso para continuar cementando su carrera internacional.

“El estilo único de Ecko lo han convertido en uno de los líderes del Trap Latino, y estamos emocionados de mantener el momentum en su carrera al darle la bienvenida a la familia de Warner/Chappell,” expresó Gustavo Menéndez, Presidente, Warner/Chappell Music, Latin America.

Ecko comenzó su carrera a los 15 años en diferentes competencias de freestyle como “El Quinto Escalón” y “Redbull Batalla de Gallos”. Desde entonces se ha convertido en la promesa del movimiento de Trap Latino, con sencillos como “Disputa” y “Dealer de Skills” los cuales invadieron las ondas radiales en Argentina. En el 2017 lanza el éxito, «Dorado», sencillo que se convierte en el himno del verano, y con el cual se consagra con tan sólo 19 años como uno de los pioneros del movimiento del Trap Latino en Argentina.

Toda una estrella en su país natal, Ecko, esta listo para conquistar el mercado internacional. Recientemente, se convirtió en el primer artista urbano Argentino en presentarse en  el festival SXSW en Austin, Texas. Ecko se encuentra grabando nueva música en Miami a lanzarse este año.

«ECKO;» Ignacio Matías Spallatti, nació el 07 de junio de 1999 en La Matanza, Buenos Aires.  Entre el 2013 y el 2014, comenzó las batallas de rap callejeras en Buenos Aires y el interior del país, ganando las mejores competencias, y obteniendo el 3er puesto nacional en la Batalla de Gallos de Red Bull. Paralelamente, había sacado algunas canciones (Dealer de Skills, Disputa, Cash, Legend), hasta el lanzamiento de Dorado en Diciembre de 2017 que lo posicionó como referente en el género y le permitió realizar su primera gira internacional en España (en ciudades como Madrid y Barcelona). WARNER/CHAPPELL MUSIC SIGNS WORLDWIDE PUBLISHING AGREEMENT WITH ARGENTINIAN TRAP STAR AND SONGWRITER ECKO

Warner/Chappell Music, the music publishing arm of Warner Music Group, has signed a worldwide publishing agreement with Argentinian trap star and songwriter, Ecko. This marks the first exclusive publishing agreement with a major publisher for the young star whose songs “BYE,” “Dorado,” and “Piso” have all topped the Argentinian Billboard charts.

Ecko’s unmistakable style has made him a leader in the Latin trap movement, and we’re excited to keep the momentum going as we welcome him to the Warner/Chappell family,” said Gustavo Menéndez, President, Warner/Chappell Music, Latin America.

At just 15 years old, Ecko began his career participating in freestyle competitions such as “El Quinto Escalon” and the “Redbull Batalla de Gallos,” and has since released hits like “Disputa” and “Dealer de Skills,” which have gone on to become staples in the Argentinian trap scene. In 2017, his single «Dorado» became a summer anthem, and solidified Ecko as a pioneer in the Latin trap movement at just 19 years old.

Already a superstar in his home country, Ecko has his sights set on taking over the international music scene. Most recently, he broke new ground during his stateside debut performance at SXSW, becoming the first Argentinian urban artist to perform at the Texas festival.

Ecko is recording new music in Miami to be released later this year.

About, Ecko: Ignacio Matias Spallatti also known as Ecko  was born on June 7, 1999 at La Matanza, Buenos Aires.As he explored various music styles and backgrounds from artists such as Residente, Eminem, Daddy Yankee and Don Omar he began to create music based on their musical influences varying from trap, rap, reggaeton and his first opportunity came with him freestyling within Argentina. Ecko began his career in different freestyle competitions like “El Quinto Escalon” and the “Redbull Batalla de Gallos.”  By 2016 you could hear “Disputa” and “Dealer de Skills” all over Argentina. By December 2017 he released Dorado which positioned him as a force to be reckoned with within a group of young talent paving the way for urban talent in Argentina.  This also gave him the opportunity to have his first international tour in Spain which continued to solidify him as within the genre.  Even though he is young he’s made himself relevant and a pioneer in the Latin Trap movement in Argentina. With his unique style rapping over whatever beat with his unmistakable and polyrhythmic flow he continues to generate trends on all digital platforms. His versatile style, has led to his millions of followers and views and top the Billboard charts in Argentina.  Now at 19 years old continues to be one of the strong pillars of the urban movement in Argentina and throughout South America.  Ecko, finished 2018 with this headlining show at the Argentinian staple venue, El Gran Rex and goes into 2019 with his first presentation in the United States at one of the most important festivals, SXSW in Austin, Texas.
