One of today’s most important composers and musicians and currently on his solo phase, Toño Jauregui presents his most recent musical creation entitled “Creciente”, a personal album inspired by intimate situations and experiences that the author has lived in the last years.
The co-founder of the legendary Peruvian rock group Libido, which received major international recognition, comments the following about his debut solo album: “I have returned to my first musical influences, those that characterize my previous compositions, but with a modern sound. This album marks a new and important stage in my career and I feel very satisfied with the final result.”
The official album presentation will be at the Teatro Municipal of Lima, Peru on Saturday, October 21st. The song selection will include all the songs from his new album in addition to the classic hits he composed for Libido. After this performance he will then prepare for an international tour that will include various cities in the United States.
Toño Jauregui has had a long successful career as a composer and musician. Since his adolescence with the formation of his first group Libido in Peru, where he musically developed becoming a composer of the band’s greatest hits of 6 studio recorded albums that include the group’s best known songs: “No voy a verte más”, “Como un perro”, “Ojos de ángel”, “Tres”, MTV winner, “No será lo mismo sin ti”, “Universo”, “Nicotina”, and “Malvada”, among other hits that took the band to their maximum expression and to the highest level of rock in Peru.
After making an international crossover by winning two consecutive MTV Latin awards in the years 2002 and 2003, the group continued recording in the studio with a new drummer and after 2 albums they finally concluded their cycle as a band. Toño then continued on to a new group called Unión Cinema in 2013.
With Unión Cinema, Toño undertook a new artistic phase and recorded the album titled “Sinestesia”, presenting an English version as well as another Spanish version, and where the highlighted songs included “Toma el control”, “Solo quiero estar”, “Mi obsesión por ella”, among other relevant singles. Despite their short life as a group, Unión Cinema participated in several important national festivals and were the opening act for the Argentinean band NTVG with more than 30,000 attendees in the Estadio de La Plata.
After that trajectory, today in September 27, Toño Jauregui makes his stage comeback with his debut album titled “Creciente”, along with the premiere of the video for his new single “Ya Verás”, under the artistic direction of Mauricio Lucena.
Creciente is now available on all digital platforms and will be on sale at record stores in the days to follow.

Uno de los más relevantes compositores y músicos en la actualidad y ahora en su etapa como solista, Toño Jauregui nos presenta su más reciente creación musical bajo el título “Creciente”, un álbum personal, inspirado en situaciones muy cercanas y en las vivencias de los últimos años que ha vivido el autor.
El co-fundador del legendario grupo de rock peruano Libido, el cual obtuvo grandes reconocimientos internacionales, comenta sobre su álbum debut como solista: “He regresado a mis primeras influencias musicales, aquellas que caracterizan mis composiciones anteriores, pero con un sonido actual. Este disco marca una nueva e importante etapa en mi carrera y me siento muy satisfecho con el resultado final.”
La presentación oficial del disco será en el Teatro Municipal de Lima, Perú el próximo sábado 21 de Octubre. El repertorio incluirá todas las canciones de su nuevo disco y los clásicos éxitos que compuso para Libido. Luego de esta presentación se preparará para una gira internacional donde incluirán diversas ciudades de ESTADOS UNIDOS.
Toño Jauregui ha tenido una larga carrera de éxitos como compositor y músico. Desde su adolescencia, con la formación de su primer grupo Libido en Perú, y donde se desarrolló musicalmente convirtiéndose en el compositor de los grandes éxitos de la banda de sus 6 discos grabados en estudio que incluyen las canciones más conocidas de la agrupación como “No voy a verte más”, “Como un perro”, “Ojos de ángel”, “Tres”, Ganadora del MTV, “No será lo mismo sin ti”, “Universo”, Nicotina; y Malvada, entre otros éxitos que llevaron a la banda a su máxima expresión y llegando a lo más alto del rock en Perú.
Luego de dar un salto internacional ganando dos veces consecutivas el premio de MTV latino en los años 2002 y 2003, el grupo continuó grabando en el estudio con nuevo baterista y después de 2 álbums, finalmente concluyen su ciclo como grupo y Toño da paso a una nueva agrupación en el 2013: Unión Cinema.
Toño emprende así una nueva etapa artística con Unión Cinema y graba el disco titulado “Sinestesia”, presentando una versión en inglés y otra versión en español y donde destacan las canciones “Toma el control”, “Solo quiero estar”, “Mi obsesión por ella” entre otros temas relevantes. A pesar de su corta vida como grupo, Unión Cinema Participó en diversos e importantes festivales nacionales y abren el show de la banda Argentina NTVG con más de 30,000 asistentes en el Estadio de La Plata.
Luego de esa trayectoria, hoy 27 de Septiembre Toño Jauregui vuelve a los escenarios con su disco debut titulado “CRECIENTE”, estrenando además el video de su nuevo sencillo “Ya Verás”, bajo la dirección artística de Mauricio Lucena.
