Sonus, the new pop–rock revelation, releases their first single “Vecina” (http://smarturl.it/SonusVecina) and its English version, “Save Me Tonight” (http://smarturl.it/SonusSaveMeTonight). Both songs are available starting today in digital stores worldwide.
Now, our ears get to enjoy the music of a new trio of young and talented brothers… Alex, guitarist and vocalist, 21, Andrew, drummer and vocalist, 19, and Marcelo (known to his fans as Chelo), the lead singer, 15, collectively make up Sonus, a Latin word that means “sound”.
“Vecina”, is an energetic pop-rock song that speaks of unrequited love, in which Chelo wows us with his expressive voice, while Alex takes a turn for another part of the verse and is responsible for the electrifying sounds of the guitar. Andrew is also in the mix…he’s in charge of the drums and also boasts a great voice.
Sonus crafted this single at the famous Igloo Studios in L.A., where A-listers such as Ricky Martin, Brian McKnight, Alejandro Fernández, Thalía and Diego Torres have also recorded, as Alex mentions.

They were born in California, but have lived in Argentina for the last 10 years. Like many of their young fans, they speak Spanish and English with ease. And, they write songs in both languages. They’re brimming with positive energy and they’re adored by girls across the Americas. So it’s not surprising that they recently received a prestigious nomination at Univision’s Premios Juventud 2013 in the category of Revelación Juvenil (Young Breakout).
On March 3, 2013, Sonus performed at one of the most important concerts of their career, opening for the Jonas Brothers in Buenos Aires. Comparisons between the groups are inevitable; however, the members of Sonus were simply thrilled to be opening for such a globally acclaimed group, and they hope to soon make it just as big, as they work alongside the Sony Music team.
Other major presentations by this group include March’s iconic Calle Ocho Festival in Miami, and the holiday-themed Rock The Red Kettle concert in L.A., where they shared billing with such artists as Owl City, Hot Chelle Rae and Bridgit Mendler.
Sonus recently signed with Sony Music and their first album is expected to be released early 2014.

Sonus, la nueva revelación del pop-rock, estrenan hoy su primer sencillo en español titulado “Vecina” (http://smarturl.it/SonusVecina) y una versión del tema en ingles, “Save Me Tonight” (http://smarturl.it/SonusSaveMeTonight). Ambas canciones ya están disponible en tiendas digitales a nivel mundial.
Llega a nuestros oídos un trío de hermanos jóvenes y encantadores…Alex, el guitarrista y vocalista de 21 años, Andrew, el baterista y vocalista de 19 años, y Marcelo (conocido como Chelo por sus fans), el cantante principal de 15 años, colectivamente, conforman la banda Sonus, una palabra en latín que significa “sonido.”
“Vecina”, el primer sencillo de la banda, es una canción pop-rock energética que habla de un amor mal correspondido, en la cual Chelo se destaca por su voz expresiva, mientras que Alex se encarga de los electrizantes sonidos de la guitarra y también canta una parte del verso. Andrew no se queda atrás…está a cargo de la batería y también tiene una voz muy privilegiada.
Sonus grabó este sencillo en el famoso Igloo Studios de Los Ángeles, donde han grabado grandes artistas como Ricky Martin, Brian McKnight, Alejandro Fernández, Thalía y Diego Torres, menciona Alex.

El 3 de marzo del 2013, Sonus se presentó en uno de los conciertos más importantes de su carrera, fueron los “teloneros” de los Jonas Brothers para su actuación en Buenos Aires. Son inevitables las comparaciones entre dichos grupos, sin embargo los integrantes de Sonus simplemente se mostraron muy contentos de estar abriendo para un grupo tan aclamado alrededor del mundo, y esperan llegar muy pronto a las mismas alturas al lado de Sony Music.
