SODA STEREO, the legendary rock band,

comes together for the

Gracias Totales – Soda Stereo Tour 2020

This will be the iconic band’s tribute tour

to their history and their fans,

along with the participation of surprise guest artists.

Loud And Live and Move Concerts announced today the sale of tickets to what began as a mere rumor in the social media pages of Argentine rockers Zeta Bosio and Charly Alberti: the reunion of the remaining members of Soda Stereo, along with a constellation of great rock stars, in the Gracias Totales – Soda Stereo Tour 2020. The tour will honor the “present absence of Gustavo Cerati,” as his bandmates have labeled it, and of course, the fans who miss him so much. Scheduled for 2020, the iconic bands final tour will perform their legendary hits in select arenas throughout the United States.

After Gustavo Cerati’s historic last tour in North America, where the band sold out two dates with more than 25,000 tickets at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, the band said goodbye to the stage in 2007. Now over a decade later, the Spanish Rock giants return on a historic tour that will take them to New York, Miami, Houston, and Los Angeles to rekindle the work of Soda Stereo and pay tribute to Cerati.

The final tour will feature renowned rock artists who will be joining the tour as special guests in person, or through an astonishing and innovative audiovisual format. The impressive line-up of special guests, who will be announced at a later date, will be joining Soda Stereo’s members as they bring back to the stage classics such as Trátame Suavemente, Persiana Americana, De Música Ligera among many others, in what promises to be a one-of-a-kind series of performances.

In life there are moments to laugh, to cry, to get excited. To show gratitude with love and respect. We want to celebrate these songs. Share in their good vibes together. Friends from everywhere will accompany us.” With these words from an open letter shared by Soda Stereo’s Zeta Bosio and Charly Alberti on social media, they announced what seemed impossible: a new tour of the immortal Soda Stereo.

The love for music, and the desire to be an informer brought us to the world of entertainment. We have gradually built on a mission that has been goal in life: bringing Latin music to US masses. In 1999 our editor, Kike Posada, was selected “an influential personality in the realm of music for the 21st century” by The Miami Herald. He also received the ASCAP Ampt award for his support to Latin music and the prestigious Orquidea Award as a Colombian talent. He has an extensive professional experience as a journalist, radio programmer, music critic, member of NARAS and LARAS (Grammy). BOOM created the first radio program specialized in Latin alternative music in the United States, (see Billboard magazine 11/14/93.) Posada beginnings as a journalist took place in Bogota, at the Xavier University. There, he became the official voice of the station. Then became a record label executive. Managed the international market for Universal Music (formerly Polygram) Moving to the US in 1992, joined EMI-Capitol Records as South East Coast Promoter. But his dream of publishing a magazine, came true in 1996 (BOOM), and hasn’t stopped publishing ever since.
