Red Bull Illume is the world’s premier action and adventure sports photography competition. An impressive 4,337 photographers from 112 countries registered on the website and 22,764 images were submitted to the competition for the 2010 installment – three times more than the amount entered in 2007. Fifty-three judges from respected picture-desks in 30 countries have selected the best 50 images from 10 categories: culture, playground, energy, spirit, close up, wings, sequence, new creativity, experimental and illumination.
May 13th -22nd the exhibition will light up at dusk on Miami Beach on Lummas Park. The light boxes have been re-vamped and showcase the 50 selected photos in an amazing 7′ x 7′ illuminated box shown only at night.
