The solidarity campaign that has brought together numerous renowned Latin artists in an effort to bring a much needed message of hope to the victims of the recent earthquake affecting Chile, “Que Cante la Vida por Chile”, is on its way. The official theme song for the fundraising campaign is now on sale on iTunes, with its promotional video airing this week.
This unique message of hope was produced by Jaime Ciero, while Chilean singer-songwriter, Alberto Plaza, in conjunction with EMI Music, was responsible for bringing together the impressive line-up of top Latin stars that made this project possible, raising their voices in unison in the creation of the new version of this emblematic song, which has given birth to the project that bears its name. All proceeds raised from this initiative will be donated to the Chilean Red Cross to assist their rescue efforts.

La campaña de solidaridad que reunió a un nutrido grupo de artistas latinos para llevar un mensaje de aliento a las víctimas del terremoto de Chile, “Que Cante la Vida por Chile”, ya está en marcha. El tema oficial de la misma ya se encuentra a la venta en iTunes y su video saldrá en promoción próximamente.
La producción de este nuevo himno de esperanza estuvo a cargo de Jaime Ciero, sin embargo, el cantautor chileno Alberto Plaza, junto a la disquera EMI Music, fueron los responsables de convocar a renombrados intérpretes para hacer realidad la iniciativa, acompasando sus voces en la nueva versión del emblemático tema homónimo al proyecto, cuyos fondos serán destinados, en su totalidad, a la Cruz Roja del país austral.
