Panteón Rococó premieres their new single El Último Ska, an unpublished cut that embodies the Mexican group’s new and surprising nuances to the contemporary music market, available in all digital platforms.
It has been 23 years since 9 exceptional young Mexicans gave their lives to a musical proposal that would demand much more than playing and having fun. By joining Panteón Rococó, Gorri, Miseal, Paco, Shenka, Felipe, Tanis, Darío and Leonel, chose a way of life that has united them through democracy, humanity, social sensitivity and teamwork; in addition to having the privilege of continuously delivering great energy and accompanying the lives of their thousands of fans in Mexico, Europe, U.S. and Latin America.
Now, with a great trajectory and with the affection and admiration of great people of the current music scene, we are gifted with their latest single: El Último Ska, a cry from the lack of love; the breaking point of irreverence and reflection of the bitterness of a broken heart and of lost promises- the duality between pain and joy. Undoubtedly, a new beginning.
El Último Ska is a song produced by Mexican musician and composer, Jorge “Chiquis” Amaro, (Fobia, Cuca, Jot Dog, La Lupita, Natalia Lafourcade, Maná, Moenia) who has long been involved with the band (Ejército de Paz, Arréglame el Alma, 2010). “Chiquis” in the production and Dr. Shenka in the composition have made El Último Ska a detailed and well-achieved work maintaining the personality of the group. It is a complete theme with different melodies and harmonies that take you to an intimate place where, as in the old traditional ska themes, the magic is unleashed and takes over to the point that there is nothing more to do than move and dance, despite having your heart torn to pieces.
Panteón Rococó includes several collaborations with musical partners in this new anthem: “Tibu” member of Fanko (formerly Plastiko) on brass instruments, César Pacheco on percussions, and last but not least, a collaboration with the international reggae band DUB INC, who imprints a unique musical seal through their French and Arabic influences.

The video clip for El Último Ska, filmed in the depths of Mexico City, will be premiered soon featuring 100% of authenticity of the places, colors, smells and emblematic constructions from where, more than 23 years ago, Panteón Rococó began to write its great history.
The upcoming concert of Panteón Rococó in Los Angeles will take place at the Hollywood cemetery on Saturday October 27 as the headliner of the Día de Los Muertos event.

Hace ya 23 años que 9 excepcionales jóvenes mexicanos entregaron su vida a una propuesta musical que les exigiría mucho más que tocar y divertirse. Al integrar Panteón Rococó Gorri, Misael, Paco, Shenka, Felipe, Tanis, Darío y Leonel eligieron una forma de vivir que los ha unido por medio de la democracia, la humanidad, la sensibilidad social y el trabajo en equipo, además de tener el privilegio de inyectar una gran energía y acompañar las vidas de sus miles de fans en México, Europa, USA y Latinoamérica.
Ahora, con un gran camino recorrido y el cariño y admiración de grandes personas de la escena musical actual, nos regalan su último tema inédito: El Último Ska, un grito al desamor, donde la irreverencia ante una ruptura es el reflejo de la amargura de un corazón destrozado y promesas perdidas: la dualidad entre el dolor y la alegría. El Último Ska es un tema producido por Jorge “Chiquis” Amaro, músico y compositor mexicano (Fobia, Cuca, Jot Dog, La Lupita, Natalia Lafourcade, Maná, Moenia ) quien desde hace tiempo ha estado involucrado con la banda (Ejército de Paz, Arréglame el Alma, 2010). “Chiquis” en la producción y Dr. Shenka en la composición han hecho de El Último Ska un trabajo detallado y bien logrado manteniendo la personalidad de la agrupación. Es un tema muy completo con diferentes melodías y armonías que te llevan a un lugar íntimo donde, como en los viejos temas del ska tradicional, la magia se desencadena y enloquece y no hay más que moverse y bailar a pesar de tener el corazón hecho pedazos.
Panteón Rococó incluye varias colaboraciones en este nuevo himno, se suman compañeros musicales, por el lado de los metales encontramos al “Tibu” integrante de Fanko (antes Plastiko), las percusiones con César Pacheco, y no menos importante una colaboración de la banda de reggae internacional DUB INC, quienes imprimen un sello musical único a través de sus intervenciones en idioma francés y árabe.
Los Panteones comienzan una nueva etapa con fuerza y alegría, siempre con el estandarte del compromiso social, inclusión y diversidad: En el Panteón Rococó, todos son bienvenid@s.
Próximamente también estará listo el videoclip de El Último Ska, filmado en las entrañas de la Ciudad de México, con 100% esencia urbana: lugares, colores, olores y construcciones emblemáticas desde dónde, hace más de 23 años, el Panteón Rococó comenzó a escribir su gran historia.
La próxima presentación del grupo en Los Angeles, California, se realizará en Hollywood cemetery el sábado 27 de octubre encabezando el evento del Día de los Muertos.
