On June 10th, new Juanes single “YERBATERO” will see a simultaneous worldwide release as he performs the song for the first time on the global telecast of the FIFA WORLD CUP KICK–OFF CELEBRATION CONCERT at 9:00PM in Johannesburg, South Africa. At that same moment (8:00PM GMT / 3:00PM EST / 12 Noon PST), the song will be digitally delivered to radio stations around the world and become available to fans via iTunes.
A hypnotic rock track that finds Juanes providing a natural remedy to all those suffering the torment of a broken heart, “YERBATERO” is the first advance single from the multi-platinum Colombian star’s forthcoming fifth album. With Juanes currently in the midst of recording in London with co-producer Stephen Lipson (Paul McCartney, Jeff Beck), the album is expected to be released in late fall of this year.
