Today, Santiago Motorizado (of El Mató a un Policía Motorizado) releases a collection of songs he wrote for the Netflix series “Okupas” via his solo album Canciones Sobre Una Casa, Cuatro Amigos y Un Perro. The album is a diverse collection of songs that traverse a variety of styles coloring outside of the lines of Santiago’s work with his multi-Latin GRAMMY-nominated band, El Mató a un Policía Motorizado. Exploring everything from country-tinged rock to cumbia to chamame and tango, and collaborators including Jorge Serrano from Los Autenticos Decadentes, Daniel Melingo, Anabella Cartolano from Las Ligas Menores, Nina Suarez, Sergio Rotman and Vicentico from Los Fabulosos Cadillacs and Felipe Barrionuevo, Santiago’s father. All of the songs are connected through Santiago’s signature melancholic indie rock vocals.
