Latin GRAMMY® Award winner Nella has partnered with rising star Nicole Zignago to release a vibrant rendition of “Cuando Vuelva a Tu Lado,” originally written by Mexican composer María Grever and popularized by Luis Miguel. This track is part of Nella's project “En Otra Vida,” which reimagines iconic songs with contemporary flair.

In “Cuando Vuelva a Tu Lado,” Nella and Nicole infuse the classic song with new energy and emotion, creating a must-hear track for both longtime fans and new listeners. Nella shares, “I lost count of the times I sang this song in bars in Boston. It became a sort of personal anthem. It was undeniable that it had to be part of 'En Otra Vida'. During those years in Boston, I also had the pleasure of meeting Nicole, whose talent always left me amazed. The coincidence of joining our voices on this song feels like a perfect and unexpected circle. I am filled with happiness to share this journey with so many friends.”

Originally penned by María Grever in 1934, “Cuando Vuelva a Tu Lado” has been a cherished standard in Latin music, known in English as “What a Difference a Day Makes.” This song has been covered by numerous artists across generations, cementing its place as a timeless classic. Luis Miguel’s version, from his 1991 album “Romance,” brought the song to a new generation, blending traditional bolero with contemporary stylings.

As part of the promotion for “En Otra Vida,” Nella has released a series of videos that breathe new life into these classic tracks. This includes a heartfelt collaboration with Maye on “Que Bonito,” a reimagined version of Shakira's “Te Espero Sentada,” and the album's main single, “Veinte Años,” featuring Yendry. Each piece showcases Nella's unique ability to blend contemporary elements with traditional Latin sounds, creating a fresh and engaging experience for viewers.

En Otra Vida,” released on May 3rd, features collaborations with top female artists, including Yendry, Paula Arenas, Nicole Zignago, Maye, and GALE. The album revitalizes beloved classics, highlighting Nella's unique artistic vision and versatility as she interprets soulful songs from her childhood.

Nella will be performing at the Latin American Music Conference (LAMC) in New York City from July 9-13. Don’t miss her highly anticipated performance at the Sony Music Latin Showcase at DROM on July 9th.
