Miami, Fl. (June 1, 2011) At just two weeks away from official release date of the CD & CD+DVD , the first Regional Mexican music MTV Unplugged: MTV Unplugged: Los Tigres del Norte & Friends, is at #1 on the list of Regional Mexican according to the Soundscan charts and #3 in Latin charts.
Los Tigres del Norte & their friends, Paulina Rubio & Diego Torres presented during a press conference held in Mexico City last Thursday May 19, the premiere of the highly awaited and star-studded, MTV Unplugged show: Los Tigres del Norte & Friends that aired on MTV & Vh1 Latin-American and in the United States via MTV ‘Tres, Música y Más’ on Sunday May 22, 2011.
Los Tigres del Norte stated:
"There are no words to convey how proud we are of this special recording". "We were honored to be the first group to bring Regional Mexican music to the stage of MTV Unplugged and flattered to be joined by these extremely talented artists and most importantly our friends,” stated Los Tigres. "Their wonderful performances helped us to create new and powerful interpretations of some of our favorite songs, to create an album that encompasses one of the most memorable nights in our career," they added.

Recorded at the Hollywood Palladium earlier this year, Regional Mexican music legends hit the stage for a memorable concert together with some of music’s best recording artists such as Juanes, Residente of Calle 13, Zack de la Rocha (Rage Against the Machine / One Day as a Lion) Paulina Rubio, Diego Torres, and Andrés Calamaro.
Hollywood Palladium was filled with great energy, passion and emotion through with the classic sound of Los Tigres del Norte and a group of powerful voices, who captivated the audience with new versions of their biggest hits in the Regional Mexican music world. Zack de la Rocha took advantage of his Mexican roots performing an honest rendition of "Somos Mas Americanos", while Juanes and his guitar approached the song "La Jaula de Oro". The Argentine pop icon Diego Torres gave a stellar presentation of the song "Mi Buena Suerte" and his compatriot Andrés Calamaro added his personal touch to "La Mesa del Rincón". While Mexican pop star Paulina Rubio, was the only female singer on stage who participated on the song "Golpes En El Corazon". The culmination of show ended with the song "America" performed by René of Calle 13, which ended this musical concert.

(1 de junio, 2011) A dos semanas del lanzamiento mundial del CD, CD+DVD, el primer MTV Unplugged de música Regional Mexicana: MTV Unplugged: Los Tigres del Norte & Friends, se encuentra en el primer lugar de ventas, según la lista de Soundscan en Regional Mexicano y # 3 en la lista Latina.
Los Tigres del Norte y sus amigos, Paulina Rubio y Diego Torres presentaron en conferencia de prensa en México, DF el pasado Jueves 19 de mayo, el estreno del espectáculo más esperado y lleno de estrellas, MTV Unplugged: Los Tigres del Norte & Friends que se transmitió por MTV y Vh1 Latinoamérica y en Estados Unidos a través del ‘Tres, MTV, Música y Más’ el pasado domingo 22 de mayo.
En relación a este lanzamiento Los Tigres comentaron:
