For the first time in her career, Roc Nation Latin Artist Farina reaches the TOP 10 of the Monitor Latino Urban Chart in Colombia with the single “Mejor que Yo”. The single was produced by hitmakers A&X-Alcover & Xtassy. The video for the single is close to reaching 4 million views on YouTube just a month after it’s release.
In a genre dominated by men, Farina, has broken through barriers leading the way for the next generation of women in the urban genre. Wyclef Jean nominated Farina for the “Artist of Tomorrow” Campaign in conjunction with the 59th GRAMMY Awards and CBS.com; she was the only Latin Artist nominated. Wyclef Jean has become a mentor and musical godfather to Farina.
Currently Farina is busy promoting the single in Colombia, including visits to Barranquilla. The Colombian Urban artist will be in New York City in May to promote her music. With her eyes set on the international market Farina is ready for the next phase of her international career with Roc Nation Latin.
