Miami, Florida | November 22, 2024 – Latin GRAMMY-nominated and U.S. Platinum-selling Colombian artist Manuel Turizo unveils his long-awaited fourth studio album, 201, titled after the apartment number of his childhood home in Montería, Colombia. Released under La Industria INC. via Sony Records, Manuel Turizo’s latest project showcases his artistic evolution, musical versatility, and signature ability to break barriers by seamlessly blending genres. The 12-track album takes listeners on a journey through diverse soundscapes, blending urban rhythms, tropical Latin influences, and fresh musical textures. The album highlights Manuel’s unique ability to craft hits that resonate across genres while staying authentic to his Colombian roots.
201 includes standout features from some of the most exciting voices in the Latin music scene today: Kapo adds his distinctive style to the infectious “Qué Pecao,” Elder Dayán Diaz lends his Vallenato depth to the heartfelt track “La Ex de Mi Amigo,” the legendary Yandel joins Turizo on the club-ready “Mamasota,” the fan-favorite “De Lunes a Lunes” with Grupo Frontera, the dance floor ready song “Bahamas” featuring Spain’s Saiko, and “Yo No Me Vuelo a Enamorar” featuring flair from Brazilian electronic musician Alok.
The album was a collaborative process that involved Turizo’s brother Julián Turizo and production heavyweights including GRAMMY-nominated Edgar Barrera, Slow Mike, and Botlok. 201 is a testament to Turizo's commitment to pushing the boundaries of Latin music while staying true to his artistic vision.
