Miami, FL (Tuesday Feb 11th, 2014)- The artist surprised his followers after announcing the release date and title of his very anticipated new single “Corazón en la Maleta” through his social network; which will premier, in exclusive, through Uforia in the US and radio stations all around the world on Feb 17th. The following day the new single will be available for sale in all digital platforms including iTunes.
As a part of this global release, Luis Fonsi will perform “Corazón en la Maleta” at the “Premio lo Nuestro 2014” ceremony; which will be aired LIVE from Miami on February 20th 2014 via Univision.
Puerto Rican singer and song-writer, who has achieved great radio popularity with songs, such as: “No Me Doy por Vencido,” “Aqui Estoy Yo,” “Gritar,” and many more, is reflected in his new single “Corazón en la Maleta,” written by Fonsi and the renowned Argentinean song-writer Claudia Brant.
“Corazón en la Maleta” has a much more organic and mature sound. It breaks apart from the melancholy since its lyrics, melody, and rhythm create a cheerful, fun and spirited ambiance” explained the artist.
As well as this first single, his unreleased eighth album- one of the most anticipated albums in the industry- was recorded live in the famous recording studio in Kensaltown, London, under the production of the producer and song-writer Martin Terefe, winner of multiple Grammys for his collaborations with praised artists, such as: Jason Mraz, James Blunt, KT Tunstall, Mary J. Blige, James Morrison and Craig David, and many more. The mastering of the album took place in the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London.Miami, FL. Como parte de este estreno mundial, Luis Fonsi interpretará “Corazón En La Maleta” en la ceremonia de “Premio Lo Nuestro 2014”, la cual se celebrará el 20 de febrero en la ciudad de Miami y será transmitida por la cadena Univision.
Responsable de los éxitos radiales “No Me Doy Por Vencido”, “Aquí Estoy Yo” y “Gritar”, entre otros, se ven reflejados en “Corazón En La Maleta”, tema que ha sido compuesto por el propio Fonsi y la compositora argentina Claudia Brant.
