Los Rakas release their new single “Raka Party” today featuring Kafu Banton available on all digital platforms. The music video, shot in their native Panama will be premiered on March 25th exclusively on VEVO displaying the dynamic duo in the midst of celebration in honor of their 10th anniversary in Latin Music. The release comes in the heels of a successful performance at SXSW’s Half Step showcase. The track was produced by Paul Irrizary and Bruno Valverde, mixing explosive beats with urban rhythms that will bring everyone to their feet.
Los Rakas got their start in youth centers of Oakland, CA in 2006. The duo is of Panamanian
descent and were raised in a bicultural environment. They are the future of world music and have been trend-setting their way into mainstream, touring nationwide and internationally. Performing in both languages, Los Rakas transmit their Latino roots to English speaking audiences far and wide. Los Rakas are known for rocking any party – from youth events to worldwide festivals, they hype the crowd and get the party started no matter where they go!

Los Rakas estrenan hoy su nuevo sencillo “Raka Party”, featuring Kafu Banton disponible en todas las tiendas digitales. El videoclip grabado en Panamá se estrenará a través de VEVO el próximo 25 de Marzo. Mostrará el dúo en su tierra natal celebrando y gozando de sus hazañas , al haber cumplido 10 años en la música latina. Los Rakas presentan su nueva canción después de una exitosa presentación en el escenario Half Step de SXSW, en Texas anoche. El tema fue producido por Paul Irrizary y Bruno Valverde con sonidos explosivos y ritmos bailables que pondrán a todos de pie.
Los Rakas iniciaron su carrera en los centros juveniles de Oakland, California en el 2006. Este dúo de descendencia Panameña fue criado en ambas culturas. Son el futuro de la música mundial y han logrado ser parte de la música popular, haciendo giras nacionales e internacionales. Cantando en Inglés y en Español, su especialidad es enseñar el Español a través de su música a través de eventos juveniles y festivales internacionales, Los Rakas encienden la fiesta donde quiera que estén.
