As you may know Los Lobos have had huge international success including big Hollywood film scores and soundtracks like:
Rango (with Johnny Depp)
La Bamba soundtrack went double Platinum Desperado (with Antonio Banderas) Sopranos – HBO Original Series

The concert is the Los Angeles premiere of their Stories & Songs performance, a very rare and special duet performance of favorite tunes from their 40 years of collaboration. The concert is raising funds for the upcoming theaterwork called “Evangeline, The Queen of Make-Believe,” and its related educational programs for at-greatest-risk youth. This benefit concert is part of a series of events leading up to the “Evangeline” 2012 debut. Last week Louie Perez presented some of the work at a KPCC 89.3 FM sponsored event titled, Civil Rights and Go-Go Boots. In late June About Productions will host a free Concert Reading of “Evangeline, The Queen of Make-Believe” at Plaza de la Raza in East L.A.
