Lali’s third studio album Brava is a sterling collection of 12 strong tracks that possess an innovative sound and reflect her impressive maturity as a singer and songwriter. Lali dazzles us with her mastery of pop, while incorporating urban-music influences as well.
On Brava, Lali duets with such prominent Latin-music artists as Pabllo Vittar (“Caliente”), Abraham Mateo (“Salvaje”), A. Chal (“100 Grados”), Mau y Ricky (“Sin Querer Queriendo”) and Reik (“Mi Última Canción”).
Buzz around this highly anticipated album first emerged in September 2017, with the release of the lead single “Una Na,” which became an instant hit and whose music video has over 19 million views. In November, she released the second single “Tu Novia,” which has received over 5 million views. Third single “100 Grados” has surpassed 8 million views, while the latest single, July’s “Besarte Mucho,” has accumulated 2.5 million views to date.
Lali revealed Brava’s cover art two weeks ago on her Instagram feed. Fans were delighted with its sensual, daring, baroque and memorable style. In just hours, it earned over 100,000 likes.
As Lali puts it, “The aesthetics of this album are very special because they represent a stark contrast to my previous albums. It’s ultramodern, but if you listen closely, it’s fusing Latin styles with the raucous, high spirits of my family members who immigrated to Argentina from Europe.”
Following in the footsteps of her previous albums, Lali once again worked with the production team 3música, which comprises Peter Akselrad, Luis Burgio and Nano Novello, who are also her band members on tour.
The Brava Tour kicks off August 23-24 at Buenos Aires’ Luna Park arena and continues through the rest of the year in the Southern Cone. #BRAVATour will arrive in the Argentine cities of Córdoba (8/31), Rosario (9/1), Santa Fe (9/8), Rafaela (9/9), San Juan (9/13), Mendoza (9/15), Salta (10/5), Tucumán (10/6), Mar del Plata (10/13), and Corrientes (10/27); along with Santiago, Chile (10/19), and Montevideo, Uruguay (11/17).
What’s more, at the beginning of the World Cup, she released a cover of Fito Páez’s classic rock song “Y Dale Alegría a mi Corazón” exclusively on Spotify. Later this month, she will serve as a judge on Talento Fox, the first music-reality show produced by Fox LatAm, alongside Diego Torres and Wisin. She recently participated in the tribute to the late Argentine rock legend Federico Moura in La Plata. In September, she takes her turn on the silver screen with her starring role in Acusada, which also features Gael García Bernal, Leo Sbaraglia, Inés Estévez and Daniel Fanego.
Lali released her solo debut album A Bailar in 2014. It went Gold in Argentina and received the Premio Gardel for Pop Album of the Year – New Artist. El nuevo álbum de Lali es una increíble colección de éxitos que poseen un sonido innovador y reflejan su enorme crecimiento musical como cantante y compositora. A lo largo de 12 canciones, Lali logra deslumbrar con su probado talento para el pop, agregando también incursiones impecables en el terreno de la música urbana.
Este tercer disco de estudio de Lali incluye colaboraciones con grandes figuras del mundo latino como Pabllo Vittar (“Caliente”), Abraham Mateo (“Salvaje”), A. Chal (“100 grados”), Mau y Ricky (“Sin Querer Queriendo”) y Reik (“Mi Última Canción”).
La enorme expectativa por la edición de este nuevo disco viene creciendo sin parar desde septiembre del año pasado, cuando salió el primer anticipo, el tema “Una Na”, que fue un éxito total sumando más de 19 millones de reproducciones. En noviembre se lanzó el sencillo “Tu Novia”, que repitió el furor y acumula más de 5 millones de visitas. Este año, en mayo salió el tercer corte del material que desembocaría en Brava : fue el turno de “100 grados”, otro éxito que tiene un video que supera las 8 millones de reproducciones. Finalmente, el mes pasado apareció “Besarte Mucho”, que tiene 2.5 millones de visitas.
La tapa del nuevo álbum se reveló hace dos semanas atrás en su cuenta de Instagram y sorprendió a sus fans por el estilo sensual, osado, latino, barroco y recargado. En cuestión de horas obtuvo más de 100 mil likes.
Según contó Lali, “La estética del álbum es muy especial porque es todo lo contrario a mis dos discos anteriores. Es super moderno, sí, pero el trasfondo tiene que ver con fusionar lo latino con el espíritu fogoso y cabrón de mis familiares que vinieron de Europa”.
La producción de Brava volvió a estar a cargo del equipo de 3música, el mismo de sus trabajos anteriores, formado por Peter Akselrad, Luis Burgio y Nano Novello, quienes también integran la banda estable de sus actuaciones en vivo.
Con respecto a la presentación de Brava, la gira arranca este 23 y 24 de agosto en el Luna Park y luego seguirá hasta fin de año por el interior del país y Uruguay. #BRAVATour se presentará en Córdoba (31/8), Rosario (1/9), Santa Fe (8/9), Rafaela (9/9), San Juan (13/9), Mendoza (15/9), Salta (5/10), Tucumán (6/10), Mar del Plata (13/10), Santiago de Chile (19/10), Corrientes (27/10) y Montevideo, Uruguay (17/11).
Como si eso fuera poco, en pleno inicio del Mundial, lanzó para Spotify una versión de “Y Dale Alegría a Mi Corazón”, y se anuncia para este segundo semestre el estreno del primer talent show de Fox LatAm, donde participa como jurado junto a Diego Torres y Wisin. También se suma su celebrada participación en el homenaje a Federico Moura en La Plata y el estreno en septiembre de la película “Acusada”, donde es protagonista y comparte elenco con Leo Sbaraglia, Inés Estévez, Daniel Fanego y Gael Gacía Bernal.
Lali lanzó su álbum debut como solista en 2014. Se llamó A Bailar, fue Disco de Oro y recibió el Premio Gardel al Album Revelación Pop del Año. Dos años después salió Soy, que la llevó por Chile, México, Estados Unidos, España, Italia, Israel, Paraguay y y Uruguay.
