With a career spanning over 20 years, Fanny Lu has become one of the most respected and admired talents in Latin music. Following a 4 year hiatus, the Colombian singer makes her grand return to the music scene, with the long-awaited release of her new single, “El Perfume”. The song, available today on all digital music platforms was produced and co-written by the legendary Carlos Vives and Grammy award winning producer, Andres Castro.

El Perfume resonates with the essence of Fanny Lu’s signature Tropi-pop sound, and also fuses undeniable elements of Vallenato and Colombian folk music. “Colombia is my country, my heart, my inspiration; and this new single as well as the album it pertains to are a reflection of that. Having the opportunity to work with Carlos and Andres have been key in finding this sound and pouring my heart into in”, stated Fanny Lu

El Perfume is a song much like Fanny, feminine but with a lot of strength, very happy and upbeat but with a unique subtleness to it. El Perfume marks the first single off her highly anticipated fourth studio album. The award-winning singer has found new direction under the management of former Universal Latin Music President, Walter Kolm and his team at WK Entertainment who just 3 years ago spearheaded the long-awaited return and success of Carlos Vives.

In Fall of 2015, Fanny Lu returns with lots of surprises; the first will be joining Carlos Vives on stage on August 13 in Bogota to peform “La Tierra del Olvido”. Also, on August 20th she’ll perform “El Perfume” for the first time on national television at the award show, “Premios Tu Mundo” in Miami. Following the show, Fanny Lu will return for her second season as part of the prestigious team of coaches on “La Voz Kids- Colombia”. The Colombian singer, philanthropist and style icon is preparing an unstoppable return with the release of her new album due out in late 2015.

Con más de 20 años en el mundo artístico, Fanny Lu se ha convertido en una de las artistas más respetadas y admiradas de la música latina. Luego de 3 años fuera de los escenarios, la cantante colombiana hace su gran regreso a la escena musical,  con  el esperado estreno  de su nuevo sencillo “El Perfume”.  La canción está disponible desde este lunes 10 de agosto en todas las plataformas de música digital. Fue producida y co-escrita por el legendario Carlos Vives y el ganador de varios premios Grammy, el productor Andrés Castro y bajo el sello de Sony Latin.

El Perfume resuena con la esencia de la firma del sonido de Fanny Lu, tropical – pop – latino, y también fusiona elementos innegables de vallenato y música popular colombiana. “Colombia es mi país, mi corazón, mi inspiración; y tanto este nuevo sencillo como el álbum son un reflejo de ello.  Tener la oportunidad de trabajar junto a Carlos Vives y Andrés Castro ha sido la llave para encontrar este sonido y poner mi corazón en él”, declaró Fanny Lu.

El Perfume marca el primer sencillo de su tan esperado cuarto álbum de estudio.  La cantante, quien ha sido galardonada por sus éxitos, ha encontrado un nuevo rumbo bajo la dirección del ex-Presidente de Universal Latin Music, Walter Kolm, y su equipo en WK Entertainment, quien hace apenas 3 años encabezó el regreso y éxito de Carlos Vives e internacionalización de Maluma.

En este segundo semestre 2015 Fanny Lu regresa llena de sorpresa; la primera será acompañar a Vives en su concierto del 13 de agosto en Bogotá, interpretando “La Tierra del Olvido”. Además, el 20 del mismo mes presentará en vivo “El Perfume” en Premios Tu Mundo en Miami.
