(Bogota, Colombia March 15, 2013) – At last night’s annual Premios Nuestra Tierra awards ceremony, the public’s favorite and year’s biggest music artists were recognized. The event which took place at El Palacio de los Deportes (The Sports Palace) in Bogota, was the epicenter where young urban artist J Balvin became one of the night’s most triumphant artists taking home a total of 5 awards from his total 7 nominations including the night’s most important award in the category of The People’s Favorite Song for his hit “Yo Te Lo Dije”.
J Balvin reaffirmed his flace among the elite artists in Colombia, also taking home an award in the categories of Best Urban Artist Of The Year and The Public’s Favorite Artist Of The Year. He was also recognized for having the Best Fan Club and for being one of the web’s most connected artists winning Tweeter Of The Year for constantly communicating directly with his fans on the popular social network.
The awards were accepted by the young artist’s staff who thanked the Colombian public for their tremendous support throughout the year on his behalf.
J Balvin is currently putting the finishing touches on his upcomign new album which will include his most recents hits as well as new songs tha promise to revolutionize the urban music scene not only in Colombia but throughout the world.

En esta oportunidad, El Palacio de los Deportes de Bogotá fue el escenario elegido para premiar a los artistas y las canciones que marcaron la tendencia del año 2012, en donde el joven paisa J Balvin fue uno de los más premiados, al recibir un total de 5 galardones de las 7 postulaciones que recibió incluyendo el premio más importante de la noche en la categoría de Mejor Cancion Del Publico por su éxito “Yo Te Lo Dije”.
De esta forma, J Balvin se reafirma como uno de los favoritos de la música en Colombia, también venciendo en los apartados de Mejor Artista Urbano del Año y Mejor Artista del Público del Año. Además, J Balvin recibió el reconocimiento por tener el Mejor Club de Fans, y por ser el artista más cercano a sus seguidores en las redes sociales al obtener el premio en la categoría de Twittero del Año.
Los galardones fueron recibidos por el staff del joven artista, quienes en su nombre agradecieron al público colombiano por el gran apoyo recibido durante un muy exitoso año.
