After witnessing the devastation caused by Hurricane Harvey in Texas, state where INTOCABLE was born, the group has decided to make a donation to those affected through the Red Cross.
What follows are the words of the group’s leader Ricardo Muñoz in regards:
“Being from Zapata, Texas and seeing the devastation Harvey has caused it’s obviously, mentally, our neighbors, our state of Texas is suffering. It is very difficult to see the news. I have relatives who live in the Houston area and may not have been as affected so much but the scare. The scare of calling your family, of seeing how much rain has fallen. I do not want to imagine all the people really affected directed by Harvey. Because of this we decided to do our part and put our little grain of salt. We made a donation to the Red Cross and in this case it is not to boast or say “we gave” and make a news that we are donating. Most of all I want to use this space to invite all our colleagues, fellow musicians, our fans to donate to the Red Cross however they can. That would be incredible. Houston has always been a joyful city. Whenever we go, they come, they support…we can always count on Houston…with the public, with the people, with their support, with everything. I know that this is not only true for INTOCABLE, but for many of our many fellow musicians. And if they can help, that’s all we want. It’s not to boast, it is to invite. If we can with this message incite more colleagues to contribute please, please. I know there are friends who are planning to do concerts for those affected. I applaud you…I congratulate you. We need to help our state of Texas. For us who are here, born here, our families live here…we can join, as Texans, unite and give. It’s the only thing I can do through this medium today.”
Munoz, who recently underwent surgery on his vocal cords, appreciates the support received but stresses,“Forget how I am. I’m fine. The only thing that’s important is to invite people to contribute, to help. Really, all the people who are affected by Hurricane Harvey are in need. This is our time to unite and to contribute.”

Tras la devastación provocada por el Huracán Harvey en Texas, el estado natal de INTOCABLE, el grupo ha decidido hacer una donación en ayuda a los afectados a través de la Red Cross.
Las siguientes son las palabras del líder del grupo Ricardo Muñoz al respecto:
“Siendo de Zapata, Texas y viendo lo devastador que ha sido Harvey, pues eso es obviamente, mentalmente, nuestros paisanos, nuestro estado de Texas esta sufriendo. Es bien difícil ver estas noticias.Tengo familiares que viven por el área de Houston y a lo mejor no los ha afectado tanto pero el susto. El susto de estar llamando a su familia, de cuanta lluvia. No quiero imaginarme a toda la genta realmente afectada directamente por Harvey. En este caso nosotros también pusimos nuestro granito de arena. Hicimos una donación a la Red Cross y en este caso no es presumir o decir “dimos” y hacer una noticia de que estamos donando. Sino mas que nada quiero usar este espacio para invitar a todos nuestros colegas, compañeros músicos, a nuestros fans en lo que puedan ayudar a donar a la Red Cross seria increíble. Houston siempre ha sido una ciudad alegre. Siempre que vamos, llegan, apoyan…ósea podemos contar con Houston siempre. Con el publico, con la gente, con su entrega, con todo. Yo se que así es no solo para Intocable, sino para muchos de nuestros muchos colegas músicos y si pueden ayudar, es nada mas eso. Ósea no es presumir, es invitar. Si podemos con este mensaje traer mas colegas a que aporten por favor, por favor. Se que otros amigos que están planeando hacer conciertos para los afectados. Los aplaudo, los felicito. Hay que ayudar a nuestro estado de Texas. Para nosotros que somos de acá, nacidos aquí, acá están nuestras familias…poder unirnos, como Tejanos, unirnos y dar. Es lo único que puedo hacer a través de este medio el día de hoy.”
Muñoz, quien recientemente se sometió a una cirugía en las cuerdas vocales agradece el apoyo recibido pero recalca, “Olvídate de cómo estoy yo. Yo estoy muy bien. Lo único mas que nada por este medio es invitar a la gente a que aporte, a que ayude. De veras, están en necesidad toda la gente que esta afectada por el Huracán Harvey. Este es nuestro momento de unirnos y de aportar.”
