Talented, versatile and hard-working, the young Italian vocal trio Il Volo releases “Noche Sin Día” with multiple Latin GRAMMY® Award Winning duo Gente De Zona, a bold move into contemporary Latin music. The new single and video premieres today and is available on all digital-music platforms.
“Noche Sin Día” is the first single from the forthcoming album by Il Volo, which will be entirely in Spanish. The track was produced by the 19° GRAMMY® and Latin GRAMMY®-winner producer Emilio Estefan and recorded at Crescent Moon Studios in Miami.
The message of “Noche Sin Día” inspires us to see the positive side of life. As the lyrics in Spanish say: “There’s no night without day, there’s no rain without water, what would life be if love didn’t exist.”
Il Volo’s members, tenors Piero Barone and Ignazio Boschetto, along with baritone Gianluca Ginoble, dive headfirst into this song that fuses urban and pop sounds. They had a great time recording the song and the music video, where they liven up a party together with their friends, the acclaimed Cuban duo Gente De Zona.
“It’s been incredible, working on this song with a Latin music icon like Emilio Estefan,” Il Volo says in a statement. “Together with Gente De Zona, on ‘Noche Sin Día’ we sought to transmit our idea of a fresh, Latin party vibe. We want this to be our calling card as we introduce a new sound to our Latin American fans – one that’s completely different from what we’ve done so far.”
The music video was filmed at Miami Palm Courts at the Design District and is directed by Emilio Estefan and David Russo.
Emilio Estefan points out that he is impressed with the love that this group has for Hispanic culture. “When you close your eyes, you think you’re listening to a native Spanish speaker. They have always listened to Latin music, even as kids. The recording sessions were a lot of fun; there was plenty of dancing and jumping in the studio. It was their idea to work with Gente De Zona, and on the video, you can see the connection between them.”
More details about Il Volo’s forthcoming Latin album will be made available soon. It’s a richly diverse work that will also include some of the signature ballads that have distinguished this group, which is known for such big hits as “Grande Amore” and “Si Me Falta Tu Mirada.”

Talentosos, versátiles y trabajadores, el joven trío vocal italiano Il Volo se adentran a la música contemporánea en español con “Noche Sin Día” junto a los múltiples ganadores del Latin GRAMMY, Gente De Zona. Su nuevo sencillo y video se encuentran disponibles a partir de hoy en todas las plataformas de música digital.
“Noche Sin Día”, el primer sencillo del próximo álbum de Il Volo será íntegramente en español. El álbum es producido por Emilio Estefan, múltiple ganador de 19° GRAMMY y del Latin GRAMMY, y fue grabado en los estudios Crescent Moon, Miami.
El mensaje de “Noche Sin Día” nos inspira a ver el lado positivo de la vida: “No hay noche sin día, no hay lluvia sin agua, qué sería la vida, si el amor no existiría”.
Il Volo incursionan en el mercado musical latinoamericano con una canción donde fusionan ritmos urbanos con sonidos pop. El grupo disfrutó a lo grande durante la grabación del sencillo y del video musical junto al galardonado dúo cubano, Gente De Zona.
“Ha sido increíble trabajar en esta canción con un ícono de la música latina como lo es Emilio Estefan”, afirma Il Volo, cuyos integrantes son los tenores Piero Barone e Ignazio Boschetto, y el barítono Gianluca Ginoble. “Junto a Gente De Zona, con ‘Noche Sin Día’ pretendemos transmitir nuestra idea de frescura y de celebración que caracteriza la música Latina. Hemos puesto mucha ilusión en este proyecto especial para el mercado latinoamericano; una propuesta completamente diferente a lo que habíamos realizado anteriormente”.
El video musical se rodó en Miami Palm Courts, en el Design District y fue dirigido por Emilio Estefan y David Russo.
Emilio Estefan se expresa muy impresionado con el amor que tiene este grupo por la cultura hispana. “Cuando cierras los ojos y los escuchas, piensas que estás escuchando a un grupo hispano parlante. Desde su infancia, les ha gustado esta música. Las sesiones de grabación fueron muy divertidas, bailaban y saltaban con frecuencia. Fue su idea trabajar con Gente De Zona, y en el video puedes ver la conexión entre ellos”.
Pronto se darán a conocer más detalles sobre el nuevo proyecto de Il Volo que rendirá tributo a la música latina y su gran diversidad de géneros. Por supuesto, no faltarán las baladas que distinguen a este grupo que ha interpretado éxitos de la talla de “Grande Amore” y “Si Me Falta Tu Mirada”.
