Critically acclaimed, Latin Grammy-winning, New York-Based all-female ensemble Flor de Toloache has just released their new full length album “Indestructible”

The record, produced by 11-time Grammy-winner Rafa Sardina (Stevie Wonder, Lady Gaga, Rodrigo y Gabriela, among others), premiered via NPR First Listen, where NPR’s Marisa Arbona-Ruiz said: “Flor de Toloache’s new bilingual album Indestructible pushes the boundaries of mariachi music and its instruments through reimagined pop covers, originals and original collaborations.”
Indestructible features a number of notable collaborations, including the all-female new flamenco quartet Las Migas, critically acclaimed and multi-platinum singer-songwriter John Legend, Latin Grammy/Juno winner singer-songwriter Alex Cuba, true R&B star Miguel and accordion virtuoso Josh Baca from Los Texmaniacs. The new album follows Flor de Toloache’s critically acclaimed and Latin Grammy Award winning sophomore release, 2017’s Las Caras Lindas.
Like the legendary love potion derived from the Mexican Toloache flower, the members of Flor de Toloache cast a spell over their audiences with soaring vocals and physical elegance as the group continues to win the hearts of both progressive and traditional mariachi music fans.
The New York ensemble and beloved press-darlings was selected to headline the national network of Levitt Pavilions in 2019 as the first female group and first Latin-genre group to do so.

The love for music, and the desire to be an informer brought us to the world of entertainment. We have gradually built on a mission that has been goal in life: bringing Latin music to US masses. In 1999 our editor, Kike Posada, was selected “an influential personality in the realm of music for the 21st century” by The Miami Herald. He also received the ASCAP Ampt award for his support to Latin music and the prestigious Orquidea Award as a Colombian talent. He has an extensive professional experience as a journalist, radio programmer, music critic, member of NARAS and LARAS (Grammy). BOOM created the first radio program specialized in Latin alternative music in the United States, (see Billboard magazine 11/14/93.) Posada beginnings as a journalist took place in Bogota, at the Xavier University. There, he became the official voice of the station. Then became a record label executive. Managed the international market for Universal Music (formerly Polygram) Moving to the US in 1992, joined EMI-Capitol Records as South East Coast Promoter. But his dream of publishing a magazine, came true in 1996 (BOOM), and hasn’t stopped publishing ever since.
