Last Sunday, the known Argentine musician, composer and singer Fito Páez performed on the second stage of the nineteenth edition of the Vive Latino Festival with more than 25,000 spectators at the Foro Sol (Mexico City). With an impacting electrictrifying rock show, Páez delighted the crowd with many of his hits such as «El amor después del amor», «11 y 6», «Naturaleza sangre», «Circo Beat», «Brillante sobre el mic» and «Ciudad de pobres corazones».

In the concert’s set list, Páez included two tracks from his new album: «Tu vida mi vida» and «La ciudad liberada», a song that gives title to his new production that was released last November. This 18-track record is the 23rd album in the career of one of the most important icons of Argentine rock. Additionally, he has 4 live albums, 12 compilations and 3 more recorded albums in collaboration with other artists.

Originally from the city of Rosario, in the Northwest of Argentina, Páez continues to collect praise for his new album both in his country and abroad. For many publications, including Rolling Stone magazine, «La ciudad liberada» is the best album by Fito Páez in the last 20 years».

Undoubtedly, Fito is one of the most representative figures of rock in Spanish with a work resume full of memorable records and unforgettable songs that since the beginning of his career have had a major projection throughout Latin America and Spain.

His new single and video «Tu vida mi vida» gives nod to Charly Garcia who is a constant inspiration, but at the same time is made 100% of Páez DNA. It is in mid-tempo that according to Fito: «has something that does not belong in the genre of love songs, it is not the classic song that you sing to a girlfriend. It talks about the fragility of women and men; of that hug that one looks for every day».
