Colombian trio Chocquibtown: Carlos “Tostao” Valencia, Gloria “Goyo” Martinez & Miguel “Slow” Martinez release their latest video Fiesta Animal directed by Renzo Devia and featuring Notch. Chocquibtown first album “Somos Pacifico” (2006) was released independently and quickly caught the attention of Nacional Records who released their second album “Oro” (2008). In 2010 they embarked on a World Tour with 40 dates in Europe which included South by Southwest in U.S.A., Lovebox in the U.K., Roskilde in Denmark & Parkpop in Netherlands. With an increased fan base and critical acclaim their third album “Eso es Lo Que Hay” (2013) was released internationally by Sony Music. In 2014 they appeared in the Carlos Santana documentary film “Corazón” which aired on HBO. In May “El Mismo” (2015) their latest album is nominated for Best Tropical Fusion Album for this years Latin Grammys which will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada. Chocquibtown is also scheduled to perform on the broadcast which will air on Univision network on Thursday November 19, 2015.

Fiesta Animal features Notch an R&B, Reggae & Dancehall artist. His hits include club bangers “Ay Que Bueno” (2007) & “Dale  Pa ‘Tra” (2009) and is also the lead vocalist and creative force behind the hip-hop reggae act Born Jamericans.

Renzo Devia Director of Fiesta Animal a U.S.-born television producer and director of Colombian descent. Devia’s production experience include Univision networks, Devia went independent produced and directed Urban Latino TV in 2001. This 30 minute magazine format show pioneered the business model for television programming in English for young Latinos. Renzo also did freelance work at MTV and HBO Latino editing and producing segments. Renzo then created a TV show American Latino and later LatiNation in 2004.

Devia garnered multiple awards including the prestigious Imagen Award for Best National Informational Program three consecutive years (2003,2004 and 2005), Telly Awards (2004) and an Aurora Award (2004). In 2008 Renzo created his new company Creador Pictures, LLC. He then ventured into a journey throughout all of Latin America shooting a documentary series called AfroLatinos: “The untaught History” which currently is being screened a colleges and Universities across the U.S. This seven part series investigates the African diaspora in Spanish speaking countries. Devia spend over 5 years traveling throughout all of Latin America. Currently Renzo is the producer and director of a travel show called Raw Travel, which currently airs in the U.S. and Asia. His latest work includes Zeitlin Perez video “Soy Corazón”.
