Grammy Award-nominated platinum-certified UK troubadour James Bay is iHeartMedia’s latest “On The Verge” Artist.
He joins the ranks of recent “On The Verge” acts such as Lukas Graham, Zayn Malik, and more. As part of this initiative, beginning May 10 his music will be prominently featured across iHeartMedia radio stations and online properties throughout the United States, and on iHeartRadio, the all-in-one digital music and live streaming service.

Bay recently embarked on a sold out Spring tour that climaxed on a triumphant Coachella debut. USA Today wrote, “The men more than held their own. The largest crowd in a tent was for English singer/songwriter James Bay.” He’s gearing up for his largest U.S. headline tour to date this fall making stops at New York’s legendary Radio City Music Hall & Nashville’s hallowed Ryman Auditorium. As his star continues to rise, Bay’s 2015 full-length debut, Chaos And The Calm [Republic Records] was just certified RIAA Gold and has given the world two RIAA platinum-certified hits “Let It Go” and “Hold Back The River.” This year, he would garner three Grammy Award nominations and win “Best Male Solo Artist” at The Brits. Internationally, Chaos And The Calm has sold over two million albums worldwide, gone double-platinum in the UK, platinum in Canada, Ireland, and Netherlands, and Gold in Germany, Australia, Austria, France, Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland, Norway and New Zealand.

The “On The Verge Artists” program looks at key tracks and artists that iHeartMedia programmers are excited about and know their listeners will love.
