Her stance on women’s rights is clear and has been consistent throughout her solo career. On January 21, 2017, she was one of the leader organizers of the ‘Women’s March on New York’. This ideology is reflected on ‘La Lucha’, as Eljuri connects with the traditions of the social struggles for civil rights and against guns, violence and social injustices in the United States and beyond.
