Eljuri’s music breaks conventions with clear firm social messages. On her album ‘La Lucha’ she weaves rock, pop, world, reggae and Latin rhythms with her powerful voice and stellar guitar work into eleven compelling songs.

Her stance on women’s rights is clear and has been consistent throughout her solo career. On January 21, 2017, she was one of the leader organizers of the ‘Women’s March on New York’. This ideology is reflected on ‘La Lucha’, as Eljuri connects with the traditions of the social struggles for civil rights and against guns, violence and social injustices in the United States and beyond.
