This Friday, January 13th, will mark the song and video release of Cuban songstress Diana Fuentes’ new single “La Fortuna” – an uplifting duet with fellow respected Latin singer/songwriter Tommy Torres that reminds us that the best thing of all we can gain in a romantic relationship is simply the opportunity to give our own love. “La Fortuna” marks the first advance single from Fuentes planned March Major Label debut album – once again produced by Eduardo Cabra – widely known as Visitante – the music production side of all-time leading Latin Grammy winning duo Calle 13.

After learning her craft as a member of some of Cuba’s most influential recent bands, numerous duets with a who’s who of the island’s most respected musicians, and two critically-acclaimed independent albums, Cuban music watchers and leading industry voices are anticipating this to be the year that Diana Fuentes reaches much broader audiences throughout the Spanish-speaking world.
