Superstars Draco Rosa, Natalie Cole, Rubén Blades, Cristian Castro, Adolfo and Gustavo Angel (Los Temerarios), Buika, Jon Secada, Jencarlos Canela, María Martha Serra Lima, Mauricio Zeilic, Horacio Palencia, Arthur Hanlon, Raúl Esparza, Edgar Ramírez, Yul Vázquez, Milton Ruben Laufer and Lucie Arnaz will be a part of the evening’s historic ceremony. Manuel Alejandro (Spain), Jose Angel Espinoza “Ferrusquilla” (Mexico), Jose Feliciano (Puerto Rico), Julio Iglesias (Spain), Armando Manzanero (Mexico), and Concha Valdez Miranda (Cuba) will be the first Latin songwriter legends to be inducted. A posthumous recognition award will be made to Roberto Cantoral (Mexico). All these iconic songwriters will receive the Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame’s La Musa Award.
Additionally, Olga Guillot, Draco Rosa, Nat King Cole, Desi Arnaz, Ralph S. Peer and the young and talented singer/songwriter Natalia Jimenez will receive the recognition they deserve for their contribution to the music industry.
The first LA MUSA award will be presented to the legendary song, BESAME MUCHO, written by Consuelo Velasquez (Mexico) and performed by Buika and a huge orchestra of some of the industry’s most talented musicians. .
