El quinteto actuará en los Latin American Music Awards 2019

El quinteto juvenil sensación, CNCO lanza el tema “La Ley”, el cual estará incluido en su próximo EP «Que Quiénes Somos«, disponible el 11 de octubre. Esta canción es de la autoría de CNCO con Andrea Mangiamarchi, Daniel Ignacio Rondón y Rafael Rodríguez.

En mayo, CNCO fue nombrado el primer artista Vevo LIFT del 2019, y el primer artista latino en ser elegido por esta prestigiosa propuesta, que ayuda a desarrollar y promover a artistas emergentes.

Este 17 de octubre, CNCO se presentará en vivo en los Latin American Music Awards 2019, donde la agrupación está nominada en las categorías: Artista Favorito, Pop y Dúo o Grupo Favorito. Además, CNCO está nominado en la categoría de The Group en los People’s Choice Awards 2019.

El mes pasado, a través de la revista Entertainment Weekly, CNCO anunció que su próximo lanzamiento sería el EP de siete temas Que Quienes Somos. De manera simultánea, el grupo debutó “Ya Tú Sabes”, el primer adelanto del EP. Este tema fue aclamado por Rolling Stone como “Una mezcla hipnotizante de salsa y trap latino…” Incorporando un fragmento de “Rie Y Llora” de Celia Cruz, “Ya Tú Sabes” es de la autoría de CNCO con Edgar Barrera, Joey Montana, Njomza Vitia, Steven Franks, Fernando Osorio, Sergio George y Tommy Brown, siendo este último el productor. Para Brown, quien es conocido por su trabajo en los éxitos más sobresalientes de Ariana Grande, esta canción representa su primera incursión en la música en español.

CNCO interpretó su sencillo actual “De Cero” en vivo el 26 de agosto como parte del MTV VMA Pre-Show. Nominados por primera vez, los muchachos se postularon en las categorías de Grupo del Año y Push Artist of the Year (Revelación del Año). El grupo también actuó en los Teen Choice Awards 2019, ganando los premios de Choice Latin Artist y Choice Latin Song por su éxito “Pretend”.

CNCO Drop New Track “LA LEY” Upcoming EP QUE QUIÉNES SOMOS Set For Release On October 11th

Set To Perform At The 2019 LATIN AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS

Award-winning, multi platinum Latin American group, CNCO drop new track “La Ley” off highly anticipated upcoming EP Que Quienes Somos, set for release on October 11th. The song was written by CNCO with Andrea Mangiamarchi, Daniel Ignacio Rondon and Rafael Rodriguez.

Earlier this year, CNCO was named the first VEVO LIFT artist of 2019, marking the first Latin artist to be chosen for the program.

CNCO are set to perform at the 2019 Latin American Music Awards on October 17th. The band is nominated for “Favorite Artist, Pop” and “Favorite Duo or Group.” In addition, CNCO is also nominated for “The Group” at the upcoming 2019 People’s Choice Awards.

Last month, CNCO announced their new 7 track EP Que Quienes Somos via Entertainment Weekly. In conjunction, they rolled out their most recent release “Ya Tu Sabes” off the EP which Rolling Stone called, “A hypnotic bend of salsa and Latin trap…” The song, which includes a sample of Celia Cruz’s “Rie Y Llora,” was written by CNCO with Edgar Barrera, Joey Montana, Njomza Vitia, Steven Franks, Fernando Osorio, Sergio George and Tommy Brown, who also produced. The release of the track also marked the first time Brown, who is behind Ariana Grande’s global hits, released a Latin track.

CNCO recently performed their current single “De Cero” live at the 2019 MTV VMA Pre-Show on August 26th. The first time VMA nominees were nominated for “Group of the Year” and “Push Artist of the Year.” They also performed at the 2019 Teen Choice Awards, where they won awards for “Choice Latin Artist” and “Choice Latin Song” for their single “Pretend.”

The love for music, and the desire to be an informer brought us to the world of entertainment. We have gradually built on a mission that has been goal in life: bringing Latin music to US masses. In 1999 our editor, Kike Posada, was selected “an influential personality in the realm of music for the 21st century” by The Miami Herald. He also received the ASCAP Ampt award for his support to Latin music and the prestigious Orquidea Award as a Colombian talent. He has an extensive professional experience as a journalist, radio programmer, music critic, member of NARAS and LARAS (Grammy). BOOM created the first radio program specialized in Latin alternative music in the United States, (see Billboard magazine 11/14/93.) Posada beginnings as a journalist took place in Bogota, at the Xavier University. There, he became the official voice of the station. Then became a record label executive. Managed the international market for Universal Music (formerly Polygram) Moving to the US in 1992, joined EMI-Capitol Records as South East Coast Promoter. But his dream of publishing a magazine, came true in 1996 (BOOM), and hasn’t stopped publishing ever since.
