Singer-songwriter Carla Morrison, wrapped up yesterday her Amor Supremo tour in New York City. The successful trek that started almost a month ago, travelled through some of the most important cities in the U.S. and sold out dates in stops such as San Diego, Los Angeles, Denver, San Francisco and Chicago. Her visit to Philadelphia was a very special one, not only because it was completely sold out, but also because her show at the World Cafe Live was streamed live online and the city was one of three (with Sacramento and Santa Cruz) that the artist was visiting for the first time.

Carla delighted her audience with songs like “Un Beso”, the opening track from ‘Amor Supremo’ that she and her powerful band played as her set opener immediately animating all those in attendance. By the time she performed her second song “Eres Tu”, audiences from the entire tour had already surrendered to her charm. There are plenty of extraordinary moments throughout a music performance, but it’s always very special when Carla’s fans joined her to sing the song “A todo pulmón” or with all their heart and passion. These shows were a comprehensive journey through the artist’s catalog, where hits like “Hasta La Piel” and the classic “Déjenme Llorar” were woven in with new songs like “Azúcar Morena”, “Vez Primera”, “Tu Atacas”, “Yo Vivo Para Ti” and “No Vuelvo Jamás”.

While on tour, Carla received the news of her two nominations for the 17th annual Latin GRAMMY 2016 awards, in the categories of ‘Best alternative Music Album’ for ‘Amor Supremo’ and ‘Best Alternative Song’ for “Vez Primera”. These nominations and her successful tour have brought ‘Amor Supremo’, back onto the top of the Itunes charts in a big way.

La cantante y compositora Carla Morrison cerró ayer su gira Amor Supremo durante su visita la ciudad de Nueva York. La exitosa gira, que comenzó hace casi un mes, recorrió algunas de las principales ciudades del país y registró lleno total en paradas como San Diego, Los Ángeles, Denver, San Francisco y Chicago. Su visita a Philadelphia no sólo fue especial por su lleno total, también se destacó pues su concierto en World Cafe Live fue transmitido en vivo a través del internet, y fue una de las tres ciudades que la cantante visitó por primera vez, al igual que Sacramento y Santa Cruz.
