CAFÉ TACVBA PERFORMS IN MIAMI FOR THE FIRST TIME
IN FOUR YEARS AT FRIENDS OF NATURE MUSIC FESTIVAL
Friends of Nature Music Festival (FON FEST) is proud to announce the participation of world renowned Latin alternative band, Café Tacvba. Having recently sold out at their New York City show, FON FEST expects a warm welcoming for its Sunday, November 10 headliner. FON FEST will take place at the Historic Virginia Key Beach Park on November 9 and 10, 2013 from 9 a.m. – 12 a.m.
Dubbed “the Beatles of Latin alternative music” by the Los Angeles Times, Café Tacvba released last year their seventh studio album titled “El Objeto Antes Llamado Disco.” The album was recorded in front of intimate, silent audiences in Los Angeles, Mexico City, Buenos Aires, and Santiago de Chile. The experimental recording resulted in the critically acclaimed album, which is a return to the band’s roots. It delivers their trademark blend of rock, folk, and electronica with the warm energy of a secret, live performance. Miami New Times considers Café Tacvba as one of the 13 best moments of Coachella 2013. The band also received rave reviews from their recent performance at SXSW.
