After receiving the gramophone statuette in the category Best Alternative Album in the most recent edition of the Latin Grammys, the Colombian group Aterciopelados, formed by Andrea Echeverri and Héctor Buitrago continues with good news; as of today, they succeeded an important nomination in the 61st edition of the Grammy Awards 2019 for the category Best Latin Rock, Urban or Alternative Album.
It is important to highlight that the Grammy Awards only has two categories for Latin artists; one of them where we find Aterciopelados along with Zóe, Orishas, COASTCITY and Monsieur Periné. With these nomination, the group from Bogota has a total of 6 Grammy nominations and 9 Latin Grammy nominations, of which they have received 4 awards.
CLAROSCURA contains 12 unreleased songs, 5 of them produced by the award-winning Argentine musician ‘Cachorro’ López in Audiovisión Bogotá and Mondo Mix Bs Aires, and the remaining 7 under the production of Héctor Buitrago (ConEctor) in Groove Estudios Bogotá. The album was mastered by engineer Emily Lazar in The Lodge Studio L.A.
Después de obtener en la las más reciente edición del Grammy Latino la estatuilla del codiciado gramófono en la categoría Mejor Álbum de Música Alternativa, la agrupación colombiana Aterciopelados, conformada por Andrea Echeverri y Héctor Buitrago sigue con buenas noticias, ya que el día de hoy logran una importante nominación en la edicíón 61 de los Premios Grammy 2019 en la categoíia MEJOR ÁLBUM ROCK LATINO, URBANO O ALTERNATIVO.
Es importante destacar que Los Premios Grammy solo tiene dos categorías para artistas Latinos y en una de ella se encuentra Aterciopelados, junto a Zóe, Orishas, COASTCITY y Monsieur Periné. Esta es la sexta nominación al Grammy, además de las 9 nominaciones al Latin Grammy de los cuales han recibido 4 premios en su carrera.
