December 13, 2024 (Miami, FL) – Multi-platinum Mexican star Kevin Kaarl releases today “No Me Culpes Por Sentir,” the second installment of a single trilogy previewing his upcoming studio album ULTRA SODADE, set for release in 2025. “No Me Culpes Por Sentir” is now available on all digital platforms.
Recorded at his new studio in his native Chihuahua, the song employs minimalist instrumentation to lay bare the heart's truths. With a stark guitar chord progression driven by Kevin's elegant delivery, “No Me Culpes Por Sentir” reveals the confusion inherent in unrequited love.
The single follows “Esta Noche,” the first chapter of this musical saga. Both tracks were produced by Bryan Kaarl, Kevin's twin brother, who takes the helm for the singer-songwriter's fourth album.
“No Me Culpes Por Sentir was the first song I wrote for this upcoming album. The track narrates the story of a relationship's end and everything that follows,” explains Kevin Kaarl. “In Esta Noche, we saw the beginning of the breakup, and in No Me Culpes Por Sentir, we're experiencing part of the aftermath. We hear about a dream where he sees this girl, now from afar, with someone else. He can't stop feeling all these emotions for her, even knowing there's not much to be done since he's no longer part of her life and maybe she doesn't feel anything for him anymore,” reveals the singer-songwriter.
In the single, Kevin portrays the emotional abyss of someone who feels trapped in their feelings, “knowing they shouldn't feel them, but finding them inevitable all the same,” the artist explains.
The “No Me Culpes Por Sentir” music video continues the narrative introduced in “Esta Noche.” This visual trilogy will culminate in a revealing short film. In this second chapter, the story finally unveils the recipient of this sonic lament while exploring the struggle between feelings and relationship realities.
The official video, filmed in Sonora, was directed by Hermann Neudert. It was a co-production between Wenzel Neudert and Julian Molina of JULIAN FILM, with cinematography by Kenneth Neudert.
Kaarl has established himself as one of the fastest-growing independent artists in Mexico, the United States, and Spain, pioneering alongside his brother Bryan, a world-class independent folk sound. Hailing from Meoqui, Chihuahua, his melancholic songs have given voice to Gen Z's heartbreak, a generation hungry for stories, authenticity, and truth.
This week, it was announced that the singer-songwriter signed with Kobalt Music Group, the world's largest independent publisher. Kobalt will represent Kevin's catalog globally, a partnership that celebrates the singer-songwriter while showcasing the company's commitment to songwriters.
