The track's lyrics tell the story of the struggle and come-up, that nothing is given and everything is earned. Raka Dun of Los Rakas explains, "We are calling for unity and calling out the culture vultures who benefit from our culture but don't give back."
Los Rakas' 2019 album "Manes de Negocio" is turning the current Latin hip-hop world on its head, positioning the duo as the "heirs of pioneering Panamanian reggaetoneros such as El General and Renato," said KQED. The group has performed at major festivals like Coachella Fest, Ruido Fest, SXSW, and has even performed at the White House. They are currently touring in support of "Manes de Negocio" and their new single Ya Tú Sabes.
