-Miami FL, May 26th, 2010.- (F & F Media Corp.) Less than 24 hours since the online release of their new album on iTunes, this magnificent band is already #1. Their self-titled album will be presented live in Mexico City during the first days of June. While the first single, “Tal vez me estoy tomando el pelo,” is already a total success on national radio, the video for the track was directed by David ‘Leche’ Ruíz.
Currently, the band is on a tour of the Mexican provinces to present this new material, entitled Los Claxons. The album was produced at the legendary recording studio, El Cielo, and featured important collaborations.
The album was co-produced by Balta Hinojosa, who was recently recognized for his excellent work with Ximena Sariñana, among others, while the mixing and recording were at the hand of six-time GRAMMY award winner, Javier Garza who assured the sound quality of this record.
This album marks a watershed for Los Claxons as the final result and the constant work on their career assures a resounding release by Movic Records and EMI Music.
The production brings forth great energy and interpretative maturity on behalf of the band. Each song is a display of their natural talent to transmit creativity and feeling, achieving a sincere and transparent formula that in a very simple way seduces and connects to anyone who listens to it.
The thirteen tracks on the album are so enjoyable that time just goes by as you listen to it. The music incites to get lost in its lyrics and melodies to relive our own experiences. Sometime later, we come across spoken vignettes of the band’s own experiences and memories; the happiest and the most nostalgic. By the end, one is left alone with the reflection of the band’s music upon oneself.
This band from Monterrey Nuevo León got their start playing nightclubs and the college music scene. Their local popularity got the attention of many followers that just multiplied one show after another.
They, in turn, grew stronger with the integration of Movic Records, (Panda, Insite and Nina Pilots’ record label), where they recorded their first album, “Sin Ganga,” which took them to new territories in the Mexican Republic, yielding hit tracks such “Mis manos necias” and “Personajes.”
Towards the end of 2007 they released their second album, “En Primera,” with higher commercial success, which paved the way in 2008 for more than 80 performances all over the country, making them one of the most active and favorite bands in multiple college events in Mexico.
“The creative and recording process flowed so well and was so enjoyable that each song transmits part of the essence of who we are and how we feel,” Los Claxons.

Miami, FL 26 de mayo del 2010.- (F & F Media Corp.) A menos de 24 horas de haber lanzado su disco de manera digital a través de iTunes, la banda Los Claxons llegaron al número uno. Su disco, homónimo, será presentado en vivo en la Ciudad de México los primeros días de junio. Mientras que el primer sencillo “Tal vez me estoy tomando el pelo”, ha sido un éxito en las estaciones de radio a nivel nacional, el videoclip que acompaña el tema, fue dirigido por David ‘Leche’ Ruíz.
Actualmente realizan una gira por el interior de la República Mexicana para presentar este material titulado Los Claxons. Esta producción, realizada en el emblemático estudio de grabación El Cielo, contó con importantes colaboraciones. Fue coproducido por Balta Hinojosa, quien recientemente destacó por el excelente resultado de su trabajo con Ximena Sariñana, entre otros; y la mezcla y grabación estuvieron a cargo del seis veces ganador del GRAMMY, Javier Garza quién aseguró la calidad en el sonido de este disco.
Este álbum marca un parteaguas en la carrera de Los Claxons ya que el resultado musical y el trabajo constante en su carrera aseguran y consolidan un lanzamiento contundente por Movic Records y EMI Music.
Esta producción muestra una gran energía y madurez interpretativa. Cada canción es muestra de la naturalidad y talento de esta banda para transmitir creatividad y sentimiento. Lograron una formula sincera y transparente, que de forma simple, seduce y empata con cualquier persona que lo escucha.
Los trece tracks del disco son tan digeribles y disfrutables que el tiempo pasa sin fuerza. La música incita a irse poco a poco en sus letras y melodías, pasando por nuestras propias vivencias. Al paso de un rato uno se encuentra en una charla con sus propios pasajes y recuerdos; los más felices y más nostálgicos. Al final estas ahí suelto y viendo el reflejo de su música en uno mismo.
Esta banda, originaria de Monterrey, Nuevo León, comenzó en el mundo de los centros nocturnos y de la escena musical universitaria. Su popularidad local logró llamar la atención de muchos seguidores que se fueron multiplicandos de tocada en tocada.
El crecimiento se consolidó con su integración al elenco de Movic Records, (disquera de Panda, Insite y Nina Pilots), donde grabaron su primer álbum “Sin Ganga” el cual los llevó a nuevos territorios de la República Mexicana y colocaron grandes temas como “Mis manos necias” y “Personajes”.
A finales del 2007 lanzan su segunda producción, “En Primera”, con una comercialización más importante, la cual los llevó a tener durante el 2008 más de 80 presentaciones por todo el país, y así colocándose como una de las bandas más activas y favoritas de muchos eventos universitarios en México. “El proceso de creación y grabación fue tan fluido y disfrutado, que cada canción trasmite parte de la escénica de lo que somos y sentimos”, dijo Mauricio, el vocalista del grupo.
