-ALICIA MACHADO MAKES A MUSICAL COMEBACK WITH “INCOMPRENDIDA” WITH JOSE MIGUEL VELAZQUEZ AS PRODUCER
Singer, actress, and former Miss Universe, Alicia Machado, just got back from the studios where she finished recording “Incomprendida” guided by renowned music producer Jose Miguel Velazquez.
Determined to continue developing her singing skills, Alicia started early in the music atmosphere when she started performing at the age of 14 at the Music Conservatory in her natal Venezuela. As a performer and composer she previously worked in two music albums, “El Pais de las Maravillas” in 2005 under the Universal Music Latino label, and “Si se acabara el mundo” in 2009, which earned her two nominations for the Grammy Latinos and the Billboard.
“Incomprendida”, a theme by songwriter Diego De Pietri, gathered some of the most talented musicians from Latin America that crafted the new arrangements from Velazquez and the powerful voice performance of Alicia to finalize this wonderful track. Velazquez praised the song “as a beautiful theme. We all enjoyed working with Alicia and are very happy with the product it was a real adventure” he said.
