GRAMMY Award-winning duo Jesse & Joy celebrated Valentine’s Day last night with a spectacular concert at United Palace in New York City. Their fans were delighted by the Mexican pop sensation’s romantic hits, which made for the perfect musical accompaniment for such a special date dedicated to love.
To celebrate this unforgettable night, Jesse & Joy invited a group of Dreamers to attend their show, in order to highlight the importance of fighting for these young people who are uncertain about their future and the possibility to remain in the United States legally. Jesse & Joy have joined the battle to demand fair legislation for DACA recipients and an overall immigration reform.
One of the most touching moments of the night came when the duo’s music video for their song “Un Besito Más” appeared on the screens. The video follows the daily life of an immigrant Mexican family in the United States, as they grapple with the recent deportation of the parents, leaving behind a young daughter who is an American citizen.
Last week, Jesse & Joy earned a nomination for a Billboard Latin Music Award in the “Best ‘Latin Pop’ Artist Of The Year Duo or Group” category. The ceremony will take place in the city of Las Vegas on April 26th and will be broadcasted live for the first time in its history on Telemundo.
On Friday February 23rd Jesse y Joy will be performing at the 59th edition of the Viña del Mar International Song Festival in Chile, where they will share the best of their repertoire in an event that has always been a historic platform for Ibero-American songwriters and has been the stage for the greatest artists in Latin music for more than 50 years.

El dúo ganador del Grammy Jesse & Joy celebró el Día de San Valentín la noche de ayer con un espectacular concierto en el United Palace de la ciudad de Nueva York. Sus fans se deleitaron con los éxitos románticos de la sensación del pop mexicano, los cuales fueron el complemento musical perfecto para una fecha tan especial dedicada al amor.
Para conmemorar esta noche inolvidable, Jesse & Joy invitaron a un grupo de “Dreamers” a asistir a su presentación, con el propósito de destacar la importancia de luchar por estos jóvenes quienes viven con la incertidumbre sobre su futuro y la posibilidad de permanecer en los Estados Unidos de manera legal. Jesse & Joy se han unido a su lucha para demandar una legislación justa para los beneficiarios de DACA, así como una reforma migratoria en general.
Uno de los momentos más emotivos de la noche aconteció cuando el video musical de la canción “Un Besito Más” del dúo apareció en las pantallas. El videoclip captura la vida cotidiana de una familia inmigrante Mexicana en los Estados Unidos, cuando los padres, tras ser deportados, son forzados a separarse de su hija quien es ciudadana Americana.
La semana pasada, Jesse & Joy recibieron una nominación a los Premios Billboard de la Música Latina en la categoría de “Mejor Artista ‘Latin Pop’ del Año, Dúo o Grupo.” La ceremonia se llevará a cabo en la ciudad de Las Vegas el 26 de abril y será transmitida en vivo por primera vez en la historia a través de Telemundo.
El viernes 23 de febrero, Jesse & Joy se presentarán en la edición numero 59 del Festival Internacional de la Canción de Viña del Mar en Chile, donde compartirán lo mejor de su repertorio con los asistentes en un evento que siempre ha sido una plataforma histórica para los cantautores Iberoamericanos y que ha sido escenario para los más grandes artistas de la música Latina por más de 50 años.
