Miami, FL December 7th, 2017.- 2x Grammy nominated producer and DJ, Steve Aoki announces his North American tour dates for the ‘Kolony Tour, ’ with Brooklyn born rapper and producer, Desiigner. The 32-city run kicks off February 10th in Washington D.C. and wraps March 17th in La Vegas, Nevada. Complete tour routing can be found below.
Desiigner, Bed-Stuy native, rose to fame in 2016 after the release of his debut single “Panda”, which reached number #1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. He since signed to Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. music label. This is the not the first run of an Aoki/Desiigner union. Aoki’s remix of BTS’ “Mic Drop,” featured Desiigner and debuted at #1 in 43 countries. The remix went on to solidify BTS as the highest charting K-Pop Group on Billboard Hot 100, as mentioned in Forbes Online.
Aoki’s latest album, “Kolony”, debuted at #1 on the Electronic Album charts. Marking his first full turn into rap music “Kolony” is stacked with features including Lil Yachty, Migos, 2 Chainz, Gucci Mane, T Pain, and more.
His latest single, ‘All Night’ with Fifth Harmony’s Lauren Jauregui debuted at #1 iTunes Dance in over 30 countries and #1 iTunes overall in more than 14 countries.
Tickets for the Kolony Tour will be available for pre-sale to the AOKIFAM fan club members starting on the 8th of December and the on-sale to the general public will be on the 12th. There will also be VIP packages available for this tour, giving the AOKIFAM access to perks such as VIP early entry to the venue, a pre-show meet and greet, exclusive tour merch and more — one of the packages even includes getting caked on stage, by Steve himself.
For each ticket sold $1 will be donated to the AOKI FOUNDATION, whose primary goal is supporting organizations in supporting brain science and research areas with a specific focus on regenerative medicine and brain preservation, as well as humanitarian crisis.
Recently Steve has also dominated in the Latino space with an explosive performance alongside JBalvin, Bad Bunny and French Montana at this year’s Latin GRAMMY Awards. It does not stop there, Aoki is also set to release more new music in early 2018 with some of Latin music’s biggest artists.

El día de hoy, 7 de diciembre, el exitoso productor y DJ que ha sido dos veces nominado al Grammy, Steve Aoki, anunció las fechas que tendrá en Norteamérica su ‘Kolony Tour’, la cual realizará con el rapero y productor originario de Brooklyn, NY, Desiigner.
La gira que abarcará 32 ciudades comienza el 10 de febrero en Washington D.C. y termina el 17 de marzo en La Vegas, Nevada. La ruta completa de ciudades por las que pasará se puede encontrar más abajo.
Desiigner, quien nació en el vecindario de Bed-Stuy, saltó a la fama en el 2016 después de presentar “Panda”, el sencillo con el que debutó en la música y el cual alcanzó el primer lugar en Estados Unidos en la lista de los Billboard Hot 100. Poco tiempo después firmó un contrato con el sello G.O.O.D. de Kanye West.
Este no es la primera escapada que Aoki y Desiigner realizan juntos. El remix de Aoki “Mic Drop” del popular grupo BTS, contó con la colaboración de Desiigner y debutó en el primer lugar de popularidad en 43 países. Ese remix continuó solidificando a BTS como la agrupación K-Pop que más ha ascendido en la lista de los Billboard Hot 100, tal y como lo mencionó Forbes Online.
El último álbum de Aoki, “Kolony”, el cual lanzó este verano, debutó en el No. 1 de las listas de álbumes electrónicos. El disco, que marca su primer y completo giro hacia la música rap está repleto de geniales colaboraciones con importantes artistas como Lil Yachty, Migos, 2 Chainz, Gucci Mane, T Pain y otos más.

Por cada boleto vendido, se donará $1 a la FUNDACIÓN AOKI, cuyo objetivo principal es apoyar a las organizaciones que estudian la ciencia del cerebro y otras áreas de investigación que se enfocan específicamente en la medicina regenerativa y la preservación de ese órgano, así como la crisis humanitaria.
