The new artist to follow in the Colombian music scene, Sebastián Yatra, begins his route to establish himself as one of the most important Latin artists of the moment by adding his versatility and talent to the ranks of Universal Music Latino.

The 21-year-old Colombian singer and composer, has managed to stand out thanks to his great vocal talent, and musical borders that range from urban to pop genres each being as authentic as the other. Thanks to his versatility to compose and interpret music, Yatra has been successful and has had great projection in different markets outside Colombia, such as Ecuador, Venezuela, Mexico, Portugal and Spain .

Sebastián Yatra recently shook WhatsApp and the social networks with the release of his Mixtape “JukeBox Volume 1 / Stuff To Dance To”; he became the first Colombian artist to introduce a digital, exclusive free mixtape for his fans. YATRA shared new music with fans directly via WhatsApp, social networks, and a website with a free download link as well as official lyric videos of the mixtape on Youtube.

In just one week, the Mixtape had 1.5 million streams, 100,000 unique visitors to the site and 50,000 direct downloads, becoming a trending topic on Twitter and having a great exposure not only in Colombia, but in countries such as Ecuador, Venezuela and Mexico.
Sebastián Yatra expanded his reach in Mexico, by participating as a guest artist at festivals such as The Concert Event 40 and EXA, where he was well received by the public. In August, the Colombian artist will go on tour in Portugal, and he will have live performances in Colombia, Ecuador and Mexico .
