Los Hollywood,, the pop-rock group originally from San Diego and Minimal, iconic progressive rock band from Miami’s alternative scene have been added to the great annual event presented by the non-profit organization Unidos Por La Música (United By Music). This adds to the event that will have a stellar performance by SIE7E and an exclusive presentation by Christian Chávez , the former member of celebrated group RBD.

This is the second consecutive year that Unidos Por La Música curates the event that will be held on November 6 in Los Angeles, California at Los Globos. The event aims to raise funds for scholarships for students who qualify under California’s Dream Act, also known as the Dream Act Students. Students who qualify to apply for these scholarships have until October 19 to submit their application.

This year SIE7E will be the headliner who will lead the event, a Puerto Rican artist internationally known for his hits “Tengo Tu Love”, “Te Regalo Una Promesa”, “Tocando El Cielo”, and “Por Todo La Vida” among others. He is an exclusive artist of Warner Latina and a Latin Grammy winner in 2012 and is also known for his rich fusion of reggae rhythms, batucada and alternative pop. His musical approach is often described by many as cheerful or “feel good” music.

Unidos Por La Música was founded in 2011 with “the objective of being able to continue to support our students in the community to achieve their dreams through higher education, especially for low-income students“, said Oscar Ayon, President and Executive Director of the organization. He stated he was “happy that more artists have joined this noble cause through music that transcends borders and unites people“.

Este es el segundo año consecutivo que Unidos Por La Música realiza el evento que se llevará a cabo el próximo 6 de Noviembre en Los Angeles, California en Los Globos y tiene el propósito de recaudar fondos para becas a estudiantes que califican dentro de el Acta del Sueño de California o también conocida como Dream Act Students. Los estudiantes que califican para solicitar estas becas tienen hasta el 19 de Octubre para entregar su solicitud.

Este año será SIE7E el artista estelar que encabezará el evento y quien es conocido internacionalmente por sus grandes éxitos como “Tengo Tu Love”, “Te Regalo una Promesa”, “Tocando El Cielo” y “Por Toda La Vida” entre otros. Artista puertorriqueño exclusivo de Warner Latina y nominado al Latin Grammy en el 2012, se destaca por su rica fusión de ritmos de Reggae, batucada y pop alternativo y su propuesta es frecuentemente descrita por muchos como música alegre con contenido o como “Feel good music”.

Unidos Por La Música se fundó en el 2011 con “…el objetivo principal de poder seguir apoyando a nuestros estudiantes de la comunidad a realizar sus sueños a través de la educación en escuelas superiores, especialmente a estudiantes de bajos recursos“, mencionó Oscar Ayón, Presidente y Director Ejecutivo de la organización, constatando estar “felices que más artistas se hayan unido a esta noble causa a través de la música que transciende fronteras y une a la gente“.
