“Mi Verdad” is a deeply poetic love song where personal truths are juxtaposed with eternal ones. And it doesn’t matter whether or not you speak Spanish – it’s all there in the grain of the singing. While the song is an enormous hit on the Latin charts (topping several simultaneously upon release), it also belongs on Anglo charts in contemporary country, adult contemporary and adult alternative.

In addition to Shakira’s appearance at Barcelona’s Palau Sant Jordi, Maná had also surprised fans in Madrid earlier in the weekend, with an unexpected performance with famed visual artist & songwriter José María Cano.

Maná was also just named as one of the top honorees for the upcoming Latin AMA’s (‘Latin American Music Awards) with four nominations:

– Favorite Pop/Rock Song: “Mi Verdad”
