Unidos Por La Música (United By Music), announced their second annual fundraiser event to benefit the Dream Act Students by presenting a concert with major international artists Sie7e and Christian Chávez, an ex-member of celebrated group RBD as guest artist. More artists are to be announced as part of this great event that will be held in Los Angeles on November 6 at Los Globos.
This is the second year that Unidos Por La Música, a nonprofit organization that began its work in 2011, curates the event with “the objective of being able to continue to support students in the community to achieve their dreams through education“, said Oscar Ayon, President and Executive Director of the nonprofit organization. “This organization has the primary mission of promoting economic self-reliance and upward mobility for residents in low-income communities through education and the power of music, the same power that transcends borders and unites people“.
That is how Unidos Por La Música came to present both international and rising artists for the second consecutive year, by having them join in the mission through participation in this great event. “We chose to invite Sie7e, as the headliner of our event because he is a living example of perseverance dealing with his dreams and goals“, said Ayon, referring to the Puerto Rican artist-author of several hits and winner of a Latin Grammy award in 2012 for Best New Artist. “Sie7e has a great story to tell our youth of how he too confronted many obstacles, yet managed to break barriers that led him to achieve his dreams and became the great artist we know today“.
Christian Chávez, is the special guest artist of the night who has continued and moved his career forward as both an actor and soloist. He achieved this after the resounding success of the group RBD, who was nominated twice for a Latin Grammy, who achieved multiple platinum records for their sales and who received over 40 international music awards. Chavez has released two solo albums, including his hit “Libertad” which succeeded in placing itself within the primary themes of radio talk (logro colocarse entre los primeros temas radiales) and its controversial video that exceeded one million views within the first days of its launch. The Mexican super star comments: “I think everyone should have the opportunity to improve themselves and improve the situation we live in as human beings. America has always been a country that has been represented as a flag of freedom in the world. Let’s not let new doctors, political scientists, teachers, biologists without the country’s opportunity of providing them with the tools because of being undocumented“.
More artists are to be announced as part of the event that will benefit at least four students in Southern California with grants to commence their higher education.

Más artistas se anunciarán próximamente como parte de este gran evento que se realizará en Los Angeles el 6 de noviembre en Los Globos.
Este es el segundo año que Unidos Por La Música, organización no lucrativa que inició su labor en el 2011, realiza el evento con “el objectivo principal de poder seguir apoyando a nuestros estudiantes de la comunidad a realizar sus sueños a través de la educación“, mencionó Oscar Ayon, Presidente y Director Ejecutivo de la organización no lucrativa. “Esta organizacion tiene la misión principal de promover la autosuficiencia económica y la movilidad ascendente para los residentes de la comunidad de bajos ingresos a través de la educación y el poder de la música, misma que transciende fronteras y une a la gente“.
Es asi como, Unidos Por La Música presentan por segundo año consecutivo a grandes artistas de talla internacional y también artistas emergentes, que se unen a la misión, participando en este gran evento. “Se eligió invitar a Sie7e como el artista estelar de nuestro evento porque él es un vivo ejemplo de perseverancia en cuanto a sueños y metas se trata“, comenta Ayon, refiriéndose al artista puertoriqueño autor de varios éxitos y ganador del Premio Latin Grammy en el 2012 . “Sie7e tiene una gran historia que contar a nuestros jóvenes, de cómo el también se enfrentó con muchos obstáculos, sin embargo logró romper barreras que lo llevaron a alcanzar sus sueños y ser el gran artista que es hoy es en día“.
Christian Chávez, es uno de los artistas invitados especiales de la noche y quien ha continuado y llevado adelante su carrera como actor y cantante solista después del rotundo éxito de la agrupación RBD que fue nominado en dos ocasiones al Latin Grammy, logrado múltiples Discos Platino por sus ventas y recibido más de 40 premios internacionales de música. Chavez ha lanzado 2 discos solista y su éxito “Libertad” logró colocarse entre los primeros temas radiales y su controversial video rebasó el millón de vistas en los primeros días de su lanzamiento. En relación a su participación en el evento, Chavez comenta: “Creo que todos debemos tener la oportunidad de mejorarnos y mejorar la situación que vivimos los seres humanos , América siempre ha sido un país el cual ha representado por ser la bandera de la libertad en el mundo , no dejemos a nuevos doctores , politólogos , maestros , biólogos sin la oportunidad de que este país les de las herramientas por no tener papeles.“
Más artistas serán anunciados próximamente como parte del evento que beneficiará al menos 4 estudiantes del Sur de California con becas para iniciar estudios superiores.
