Ruido FEST successfully concluded this weekend with the second edition of the festival that attracted an audience of more than 35,000 fans of all ages throughout the 3 days in the Adams Medill Park of Chicago. Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, the legendary Argentine band that chose the festival to make their first concert appearance after several years of not doing so in the North America, were responsible for closing the great event that brought together not only public from all over the U.S., but also from other countries of the world.

Throughout the weekend, the festival’s results that demonstrated today’s vivacious and vibrant Latin music scene from both established and emerging bands from all corners of the American continent and Spain was acclaimed by National and international press. The 3 stages of the festival reflected the musical diversity that attracted a unique and equally diverse audience.

Slogans and social messages by some of the more than 40 groups that met in Chicago in the first and only 3-day Latin alternative music festival with multiple stages in the US, ranged from awareness to recycling, protection of mother earth, human rights, respect and coexistence with other worlds, building bridges to cross back and forth instead of separated walls, to the importance of knowing and remembering the history of this country and the pride of being made by immigrants.

This year, Ruido FEST far exceeded the attendance and expectations of its first edition in 2015, establishing itself as a unique festival of its kind held in the beautiful windy city and converting itself into an important exponent of Latin alternative music in an international level.

Ruido FEST concluyó exitosamente este fin de semana con la segunda edición del festival que atrajo a un público de más de 35,000 fanáticos de todas las edades a lo largo de 3 días en el Adams Medill Park de Chicago. Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, legendaria banda argentina que eligió al festival para hacer su primera presentación en concierto después de muchos años de no hacerlo en la Unión Americana, fueron los encargados de cerrar el magno evento que convocó no solo público proveniente de todos los puntos del país sino también de otros países del mundo.

La conclusión del festival que mostró en el transcurso del fin de semana la efervescente y vibrante escena musical Latina en la actualidad tanto de grupos consagrados como emergentes de todos los rincones del continente y España, fue una vez mas, aclamada por prensa proveniente de todo el país y del resto del continente. Los 3 escenarios de Ruido FEST reflejaron esa diversidad musical representando a más de una generacion y que atrajo un público singular e igualmente diverso.

Las consignas y mensajes sociales de algunos de los más de 40 grupos que se dieron cita en Chicago en el primer y único festival de 3 días y con múltiples escenarios en EEUU, iban desde la conciencia al reciclaje, la protección de la madre tierra, los derechos humanos, el respeto y coexistencia con otros mundos, la construcción de puentes para atravesar de ida y vuelta en vez de muros separatistas, hasta la importancia de conocer y recordar la propia historia de este país y el orgullo de estar hecho por inmigrantes.

Este año, Ruido FEST superó por mucho la concurrencia y expectativas de su primera edición en el 2015, consagrándose como un festival único en su género realizado en la bella ciudad de los vientos y convirtiéndolo en un importante exponente de la música Latina alternativa a nivel internacional.
