Roberto Carlos, winner of four Latin GRAMMYs and a GRAMMY as best Latin American singer, released his highly anticipated album Amor Sin Límite on September 28th – his first full Spanish new album in 25 years, which debuts #3 on the Billboard “Latin Pop Albums” chart in the US. With more than 140 million albums sold, Roberto Carlos is the Brazilian solo artist who has sold the most albums in history, beating the Beatles and Elvis Presley.

Amor Sin Límite was produced by the Chairman & CEO of Sony Music Latin Iberia, Afo Verde, and has ten new songs in Spanish: four new compositions and six others that, for the first time, are recorded in Spanish – with the unmistakable signature of the greatest Brazilian artist of all time. Along with the album, the third single, “Que Yo Te Vea”, a new song that brings together the sounds of guitar, percussion, salsa and mambo touches and that, nevertheless, sounds like a classic.

In addition to the unreleased content, Roberto Carlos’ new album also brings big stars as guests. Alejandro Sanz collaborates in “Esa Mujer”, second single of the album, which is a dialogue-song between the two artists, that brings the power of the two voices and the romantic mood characteristic of Roberto Carlos songs with arrangements from Tim Mitchell and the pianist Pete Wallace. Jennifer Lopez also takes part in “Llegaste”, a pop romantic song, which brings the vocal of the artists intertwining in the bridge and chorus.

Amor Sin Límite had its first single, “Regreso”, released on June 8th. Already known by the public, is a previously unreleased ballad that counts with piano and string arrangement, which sounds like a classic and contemplates the essence of Roberto Carlos.

Even though Amor Sin Límite is the first full Spanish new album in 25 years, Roberto Carlos was present in the Iberian Latin region with two major projects in recent years and a major tour in 2016 with 19 shows in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Uruguay.

In 2015, when the artist celebrated the 50th anniversary of his first recording in Spanish, Roberto Carlos released the album Primera Fila, recorded at Abbey Roads Studios, which became a success throughout the Latin Iberia region, receiving a Gold certification in Mexico and Chile and Platinum in Brazil.
