“Fauna” is Minimal’s fourth album, which was experimentally recorded at an antique church in Wynwood, the widely known street art district in Miami, where the band lives and gets much of their inspiration from. The whole album was recorded in a week, indulging in the church’s raw atmospheric ability to insert a different tone to the album.

Minimal is formed by Gabriel Ayala, Roberto Taninaka, Fernando Llanas and Alejandro Angee: four members with different nationalities and musical backgrounds. They successfully released their first album “Fotos, Cartas Y un Puñal”, in 2006, “Hermoso Caos”, in 2009; and “Antibalas Corazón”, in 2012. All previous three albums left a series of great reviews presenting the band as “some of the best Latin rock SoFla has to offer“, according to Miami New Times.
