Fusing pop, R&B and rock with her unique and personal vocal style, award-winning Puerto Rican singer and songwriter Kany García brings to life to another memorable song, her latest single “Me Pregunto”.
The fourth single from her fourth studio album Limonada, the track is complimented by a music video directed by Michael Abt, who also directed the video for her hit “Cómo Decirle”.
Filmed in Punta del Este, Uruguay, the video adds a touch of dark humor to a breakup, highlighting the descriptive lyrics by mischievously destroying the typical mementos of a relationship. This video will make its national TV premiere today, January 6, on Univisión’s afternoon news and entertainment program Primer Impacto. The worldwide digital premiere will follow at 6 p.m. ET on her official VEVO channel.
The lyrics and music for “Me Pregunto” are written by Kany García who’s vivid lyrics are filled with unflinching wisdom: “People say, look for a husband; my dad answers, be happy with yourself.”
Released on May 20, 2016, the album debuted at #1 on the Billboard “Latin Pop Albums” chart, which tracks sales in the United States and Puerto Rico.
Thus far, Limonada has produced three hit singles, the joyful pop-rock of “Perfecto Para Mi” ; the unabashed power ballad “Cómo Decirle,” co-written by Kany and her renowned fellow Puerto Rican artist Tommy Torres, along with album producer David Kahne (Paul McCartney, Tony Bennett, Lana Del Rey); and the duet “Aquí” with Abel Pintos.
