Rising star Jacob Forever takes his career to the next level by signing a multi-album deal with Sony Music.
Yosdany Jacob Carmenates, better known as Jacob Forever, was a member of the renowned Cuban group Gente de Zona for nine years before going solo in 2013. Since then, his natural talent and performance skills have been in display during multiple successful Latin American and European tours, where his concerts have become known as fun- and rhythm-filled celebrations.
His current single “Hasta Que Se Seque El Malecón” (Until the Malecón Dries Up) and stunning video filmed in Havana, has racked up millions of views on YouTube while the song continues rising to the top of the Billboard airplay chart. The song has also spent two continuous months in the Top 10 of digital sales chart.
Nir Seroussi, President of Sony Music US Latin, notes that Jacob Forever’s work ethic is paying off: “We’re very excited to welcome Jacob to the Sony family. After years of hard work and dedication to his music, this is his moment and we’re thrilled to be part of it.”
Jacob Forever pledges that his best music is on its way, as he teams up with Sony Music: “My team and I can now get our music heard in places where we weren’t as well known, and we strongly believe that we’ll be received with open arms. I’m very happy to be able to represent the new generation of Cuban artists.”
The forthcoming album by Jacob Forever will be the fourth of his career and his first with Sony Music. He’ll be teaming up with some of Latin music’s top talents who will help him step onto the world stage in a big way.

La música latina tiene un nuevo líder: el genial cantante, compositor y productor Jacob Forever, quién está por asumir nuevos retos de la mano de Sony Music, con quien firmó un contrato discográfico.
Durante nueve años, Yosdany Jacob Carmenates, mejor conocido como Jacob Forever, fue integrante del reconocido grupo cubano Gente de Zona, para luego lanzar su carrera de solista en el 2013. Su talento y repertorio de éxitos se ha visto reflejado en múltiples exitosas giras por Latinoamérica y Europa, donde sus conciertos se convierten en grandes eventos con audiencias cada vez mayores.
Su más reciente sencillo y video “Hasta Que Se Seque El Malecón” ha acumulado millones de views en YouTube y continua en su carrera a la cima de la lista de difusión de la revista Billboard. Además, el sencillo se ha mantenido en el Top 10 de ventas en plataformas digitales por dos meses consecutivos.
