Celebrating the 50th anniversary of his first Spanish-lanuage recording, Roberto Carlos has come full circle with his new album, the latest in the Sony Music’s Primera Fila (Front Row) series. Recorded on May 11-12, 2015, at London’s legendary Abbey Road Studios, this album captures an intimate performance for 150 attendees. Produced by Afo Verde with musical direction by Tim Mitchell (Shakira, Ricky Martin), it’s a keepsake for Roberto Carlos’ legions of fans that reimagines his best-known hits with engaging new arrangements and ideas.

The first single is titled “Te Amo, Te Amo, Te Amo,” and it will be released for digital download on September 18.

Afo Verde, Chairman and CEO of Sony Music Latin Region, Spain and Portugal, expressed: “Roberto Carlos is a one-of-a-kind artist, and an icon of popular music. We looked for musicians who could accompany him, and we found the best. We also worked with top-notch technical personnel, and his engineer. It’s a world-class team that will impress and delight Roberto Carlos’ millions of followers around the world”.
